Food was fine, BUT they speak bad English, you have you have to know what are you ordering, otherwise they are not going to be able to explain. Soda is served in cans, no glasses. Tip is INCLUDED!!! That is just not right, and its 20%, what if I didnt have enogh for 20% when I ordered my food? I should be able to choose how much the tip is going to be.
EDIT: After asking about it, they managed to explain what it was and gave me new total without tip included. I left the tip, like I always do, but dont like to be forced to do so.
Server was rude but this is NY so I expected it, he was like next next next, like hurry up and order. Food made it worth it, delicious soup dumplings.
Good restaurant to come and have a good taste of the Chinese gastronomy.
In this case we tasted pork and white rice, beef soup, and a good tofu soup. Different flavors that in some moments are weird but interesting.
I always think that you need to taste other things even when they don’t call much your attention. A little bit never kills anyone.
Here in this restaurant I got to give a 5 star to the decoration and the tables, it was perfect in all aspects.
The service in the beginning was ver y normal but it went better when we ordered more.
The flavors of the food I must say that where unique and gave me the intentions to see what more can we taste.
For the handicapped people it is friendly.
The restaurant is relatively big comparing to other Chinese restaurants nearby. The decor looks out of date. The carpet needs some deep clean or completely replaced. We came here on a Sunday afternoon at around 4pm. The restaurant was not too busy so the food came out quickly. We ordered Shanghai style stir fry rice cake, sautéed smoked pork. They were tasty and authentic. The ingredients were fresh. The spicy cabbage was a disappointment though. It was not spicy at all and too sweet. The service was okay.
The pork fried rice was awesome. The fried dumplings were also good. General Tso chicken was so-so, and the beef and broccoli was good, but it wasn't great. I was with a group, so we ate family style. It was hard to get a good bead as I was trying everything. Service and atmosphere were good. The area is super packed, and parking was nuts. I will definitely return and hopefully update.
Average for the area, wanton soup was good value for money, pork dumplings looked a little undercooked (red meat) and the individual meat dishes were a little bland and quite greasy. Decent enough selection of Asian beers though.
So many places to choose from but this one caught my eye.
We have the lunch special which was $10. It cam with soup, white rice, and an entree. The portion was a nice size. We didn’t leave stuff, but was enough so we can walk to little Italy for dessert.
Had a wonderful meal in Chinatown. Split chicken lo mein and some pork and leek dumplings with my friend! The wonton soup and hot and sour soup were perfect for the cold winter night. Great selection of food. This place can get pretty crowded though, so arrive before the big dinner rush around 5-5:30. Service is fast!
