Upon arriving at the business, my initial impression was somewhat hesitant. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the prompt and friendly service during lunch.
Despite this positive start, I must admit that when I received my food, it looked like vomit on a bed of rice, and the same was true for all four meals ordered.
Nevertheless, don't let the appearance deceive you as the taste was phenomenal with an excellent contrast of flavors.
I plan to visit this establishment again in the future, whether it be at the Indianapolis location or another.
Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and decor, making for an overall pleasant dining experience.
I’ve been coming to Yats for years now, but this is by far the best location. The employees are super cool, vibes are on point, and they are always jamming out to the best playlist! I really feel like I can totally be myself when I come in here and vibe with the boys. I highly recommend the jambalaya, the hot sauce level is legit and the peanut butter pie is absolutely EPIC. 10/10 5 star review!
Great Food! FAST service. The bread is to die for! Amazing I had to order more! The portion size of each serving is hearty as well! The half and half combo is what I got! So I could try a little bit of everything! Great place to eat if you want to sit down but you are in a hurry! The food came out so fast it scared me! But it did not disappoint!
Cheap, delicious, and management is top teir. They forgot my order, I reminded them, and they went above and beyond to fix it. Awesome service.
Visited this restaurant based on the reviews, and I’m so glad I did! The gentleman working behind the counter helped me make a selection which came out very quickly, and was absolutely delicious! I will be back, but next time I’ll bring a friend.
Best Yats in town! The food is always delicious and comes out super fast. On top of that, the store was very clean and organized and the customer service is next level. I will definitely be back!
I had heard about Yats during the first four years I lived in Indianapolis, but never got around to going there. I am now totally kicking myself for not having tried it before. The food is absolutely delicious, with the focus on flavor accented with an appropriate level of heat, rather than heat that has food in it. At the recommendation of the very nice gentleman who took the order, I had a 1/2 and 1/2 of chili cheese etoufee with crawfish ( OMG!) and Drunken chicken (YUMMMMMMMMMMM!)
It. Was. AMAZING!!!!!
He also mentioned the order came with the Cajun bread. It does not. It comes with a few pieces of buttery, toasted, heaven on earth perfection disguising itself as 'bread'. He added that people really like it. This is like saying people like oxygen. The Cajun bread is beyond mere 'liking': this stuff is fundamental to one's existence on this planet.

ILL GIVE THE FOOD A 5 STAR BUT THE MANAGEMENT US WHY IM PUTTING 2 STARS... PLAINLY PUT IF A CUSTOMER HAS AN ISSUE WITH THEIR ORDER YOU SHOULDN'T INSULT THEM BY ASKING THEM " ARE YOU SURE" OR GIVE THEM SEMANTICS... IT DOESN'T HURT TO ADMOT YOU MESSED UP ON AN ORDER.
