Best WLM Reviews
I would this place a 5/10. The service was phenomenal however, the food is average. I ordered the chicken And waffles and actually sent it back ( which I never do.) I have read good reviews about that dish but I have to be honest, it wasn’t that great. They give you 4 pieces of whole chicken which is shareable but it lacked seasoning. The shrimp and grits had a great flavor but again, nothing mind blowing. I think perhaps that the reviews of this place, previously, are a bit dramatic, but I enjoyed the atmosphere. Being honest, I tried it, but probably won’t go back. FYI THEY ALSO ADD AN AUTOMATIC 18% GRATUITY ON EVERY ORDER NO MATTER THE PARTY SIZE (it was just 2 of us.)
Located on the bustling restaurant row at the Venetian, Yardbird offers upscale comfort food with a relaxing vibe. After reading positive reviews, I booked a last-minute reservation for two on a Sunday night.
The ambiance struck a delightful balance - a chill, relaxing space with dimmed lighting that felt trendy without being overly dark. The seating options are varied, catering to different preferences, with community tables, comfortable sofa seating, and classic booths. Our friendly waiter arrived shortly after we were seated. Having browsed the placed online, I knew what I wanted to try. The Lobster Mac & Cheese, priced at market value ($88 on this visit), was undeniably expensive. While it felt like a splurge, the online photos were too tempting to resist. We also opted for the Shrimp & Grits.
The wait time for our food was around 30 minutes. The Lobster Mac & Cheese was exceptional - perfectly cooked pasta, fresh lobster with easy-to-remove meat, and a luxurious cheese sauce that was flavorful without being overpowering. The Shrimp & Grits was a delightful surprise. Five jumbo shrimp sat atop creamy grits, complemented by a tangy tomato-ham topping. The rich gravy tied all the elements together, creating a perfect harmony of flavors in every bite. We actually preferred the Shrimp & Grits to the Lobster Mac & Cheese; it has more flavor and a better value.
We were thoroughly impressed and found out they have another location in Los Angeles. Needless to say, we'll definitely be checking out their LA branch when we return home.
Several super kind and helpful servers, and excellent food! All were great at offering menu recommendations and answering our questions. We split two apps and a “whole bird” between the 4 of us and it was plenty. The chicken meat was tender, the skin crispy, and melting in your mouth. The seasoning on the chicken and the watermelon that comes with it were great, and the waffle had great texture. The Parmesan potatoes were my favourite appetizer. The individual items are a little expensive, but something like the whole bird split is reasonable. The presentation of the whole bird was really cool too — it arrived in a wire basket in the shape of a chicken. The restaurant was really dark, but still cozy, and not very loud.
I've been to this location on more than one occasion, and each time I have been wowed by the beautiful surroundings, delicious food and amazing service.
I absolutely love the farmhouse decor and warm lighting, and this visit our large group was seated in a private room off the main dining area which was spacious yet cozy. Our food was served on beautiful stoneware, which I found out is made especially for Yardbird. Our server was friendly, helpful and very attentive. She made us feel welcome and at home, like we were all seated at our own dining room tables.
The Yardbird Tenders were large and juicy with a crispy coating and served with three different yet complimentary sauces. The Shrimp and Grits, which I was on the fence about because of the Virginia Ham addition, was incredible. The pieces of shrimp were big and tender, the grits a perfect balance of course yet creamy, the ham firm and flavorful and the veggies and sauce in combination created a rich and savory taste that beautifully tied everything together.
Located in several cities across the country, Yardbird is worth a visit if you see once. Great comfort food, served in a sophisticated atmosphere with warmth and a smile.
Good food but pricey. It gets crowded and there can be a long wait. We sat at the bar and people were right behind us almost on top of us. But it's a bar crowd and we were lucky to get the seats. The Brussel spirits were a little salty due to the heavy handedness of the chef. I would recommend specifying no added salt.
Dined-in for dinner, table for two with no reservation on a late Wednesday night and we were seated right away. Ordered green goddess salad, little gem salad, chicken and waffles, field pea succotash, and crispy fingerling potatoes. Salads were fresh and filling and the chicken and waffles were so good I didn’t get a chance to take a photo before we dug in. The bourbon maple syrup was flavorful, although a tad overpowering. They have a certain way of frying the chicken that makes it crispy and tender, not greasy or dry. The waffles were perfect, I wish we could have ordered an extra waffle. Fingerling potatoes and field peas were delicious and I can’t wait to come back to try more sides. Interior is welcoming and comfortable, a mild southern style theme. We had a great time with our server, who was informative, friendly, and patient. We left full, happy customers.
Yardbird Table & Bar is an incredible eating experience. The exceptional and friendly service from the entire staff is impressive!! The chicken and waffles with bourbon maple syrup is a must to order. They even have a gluten-free version, which is excellent. And if you are extra hungry, get the fried green tomato BLT as an app. I highly recommend Yardburd.
The Las Vegas Yardbird never misses. I fell in love with this place a few years ago and I have been back on my many trips to Vegas. The gluten free chicken and waffles is absolutely amazing, and there is nothing like it I have had gluten free anywhere else. Tonight we were greeted by the gorgeous hostesses at the door and seated a few minutes early for our reservation. Koby was our server and he was extremely kind and personable. I will always be back to this location and Chicago is amazing too.
