Best WLM Reviews
Delicious Sonoran dogs! I was impressed by both the speed of completing my order and the flavor. The peppers are wrapped in bacon as well. The prices are reasonable. Prices/speed/flavor was better than El Guero. There is a small up charge for a CC, so either come with cash or be willing to pay it. Definitely will be eating here again.
Have gone recently twice now and every time it’s something that goes wrong on their end, not mine.
Tacos were somewhat salty. Corn tortillas are bigger than the flour ones. The proportions of the carne asada for corn tortillas seems small. I guess the put the same amount as in the flour tortillas.
Guacamole, fresh salsa and cucumbers were low in the containers inside the cooler. Have had to let them know as a courtesy in the past to refill them.
The lady that took my order was also the one preparing it. She came out of the food cart and handed it to me personally which I’m thankful for that since I have a disability. Asked her nicely for an extra plate to get some other items from the cooler and the lady has the wits to ask “why didn’t you let me know earlier!!!”. Staying cool about it said I forgot, but in my head I wanted to tell her also that she never offered me one. I see that as a lack of customer service.
I personally don’t go there to eat but I do go there to treat my family if they have a craving for mexican food. Not that many mexican food places in the area that taste good.
This business has had many different people attend the food cart. Some of those attendants are nice. Some are neutral which is ok. But lately the customer service is not ok!!!
At Yami's Taqueria, our Friday lunch was an exercise in patience and disappointment. After an unreasonably long wait, the culinary missteps were striking. My carne asada burrito was shockingly sparse, barely hinting at its beefy promises, while my partner's torta, explicitly ordered without tomatoes, arrived dotted with the offending ingredient. This food truck's performance was a stark departure from acceptable dining standards, demonstrating a profound neglect for customer preference and quality.
Stopped here after visit to University of Arizona on way back to Phoenix for a Sanoran hotdog. It was delicious! I ordered one but had to get a second one. The bacon wrapped pepper that accompanied the hotdog was on the spicey side but bearable and good. The owner takes pride in the stand you can tell.
Best Sonoran dogs!
Love this place. So much better then BK or Guerro Canelo.
Bacon wrapped chile with the Sonoran dog. Nice toppings in the cooler. Good flavor overall. Good bread. They took my card, though with a $1 extra charge, which is fair. Not all food trucks take cards at all.
Has really good hot dogs at a decent price, the chili's come wrapped in bacon which you don't see often anymore. They are really nice and service is quick. Alot of the menu items are great in flavor just only thing is that the tacos are fairly small but they are delicious.
