Food/Taste/Flavor: 4/5 - Tonkatsu Bowl and a Lunch Combo of BBQ Ribs and Salmon Teriyaki. Tonkatsu is a simple dish with just rice and fried pork but white the tonkatsu was crunchy, it was on the drier side and the sauce was slightly tart. The lunch combo had a smaller portion but the salmon was moist and the kalbi sweet and tender. The food was packaged really well to go and they even provided some miso soup!
Service: 5/5 - slight language barrier since she seemed a little bit confused when we mentioned we were ordering to go and selected lunch special items.
Ambiance: n/n - ordered food to go. Large spacious restaurant with plenty of seating. Does feel a bit darker inside despite it being such a sunny day.
Value for price: 5/5 - yummy food, quick service, but smaller portions! Note that there's a 3% credit card surcharge. For dine-ins, they give a free soft drink if you check in or write a review on Yelp.
Atmosphere was really chill. Food was great as the service. Got seated quickly. Staff was very friendly and everyone greeted us. The environment gave more of a relax feeling not like the one on spring mountain where the pace is faster. Both location is good but this one on rainbow was more chill. Could take our time without knowing people was waiting outside. Didn't feel rush at all. Menu was pretty much similar as the other location. Will be back again!
Love Yama sushi!!! Brought my family here last night (Saturday night) and the service was fast and friendly.
Got a huge order of Garlic Tuna and Super White Tuna nigiri (my favorites), Hamachi Kama, Spider roll, special Yobo roll (baked roll), salmon skin hand roll and a palm job.
For dessert, we got pistachio ice cream (highly recommended) and chocolate mochi ice cream. I will definitely bring my family here more often. They enjoyed everything!
Yama sushi is great! The service is super fast. All the sushi came out super fast. The atmosphere is good as well. The price is a bit high , but they do have a happy hour after 9:00 PM for $25.00 All the sushi rolls are great as well overall I give the food an 8.5. I will definitely go there again.
We used to go to the flamingo location but this one is much closer to our house. Let me start off by saying the employees are very nice and very attentive. The food is good but not great. I can definitely eat my money's worth lol. Tables are always clean.
This place is extremely underrated. They have one of the best all you can eat menus and prices in town, especially for happy hour. Not only that, but the food is extremely consistent time after time I’ve been there. I would assume this place would be much more packed than it normally is.
We ordered sushi specials through 3rd party delivery and the sushi was great. The "be mine" rolls could've been fried a little longer but were still delicious.
Food taste was good but was pulling bones out of the sushi rolls, found 9 bones in 1 piece of the roll. Told waitress and she said she'd let them know but did nothing to accommodate us for not eating anymore. If you like small bones in your sushi rolls then this place is for you!!! We will never go back.
