I really enjoy getting my haircut at this establishment. Christy is wonderful and always available when I need to come in. She does a great haircut and her prices are quite reasonable. Some people may be put off by the shop especially if they're used to going into other salons where everything is super modern and tidy. But to be honest some of those places also a really overcharge customers for a haircut. Often times the haircuts at other establishments like that your charge for the " fluff" or glitz and glamour of the place.
I usually went to Aveda salons and I did that for many many years and it cost me dearly to do this. At the beginning the first 20 years or maybe a little less The prices with Aveda were reasonable and I always got a good haircut but since they moved to California 16 years ago I feel like the Aveda stylist that I've encountered the last 7 years have really not done all that great of a job but yet charged me an arm and a leg.
As much as I hate to admit it I sometimes spent way more than I needed to and didn't always get a great cut. But so far I've had my haircut I think three times by Christy at y2k and have not been disappointed.
I'm at this place almost every weekend if not for me for my son to get our hair cut. The lady there is super nice. And at $20 it's not too expensive.

The lady kept the shop open 45 minutes late for me and even let me owe her for the cut . They do it all and they are flexible. Thanks.
They only have 2 seats in the shop and you will have to wait in your car. The lady was unprofessional and rude. Why would I pay to be mistreated when I have so many better options nearby. Never coming back.
I always go and have christy cut my hair.my son and daughter also see her as well.shes been there for some time and is my regular hair cutter stylist
I brought in my son for a trim, she spent 12 minutes on this haircut and charged me $35 dollars becasue he has long hair. It was just a trim! Total rip off!
I had a very good experience at Y2K. I went for a flat top haircut. Christy did a great job and charged a very fair price. I will go back!
