I’ve been going to Ting for at least 15 years, through thick and thin. Always get a great haircut. And the free scalp massage/shampoo feels amazing. The price is a great deal. If you’re looking for a high end spa experience, this is not your place. But if you want a great cut from a talented hair dresser with 30+ years experience at a budget price, Ting’s your guy.
This salon is the best value anywhere. Their prices are extremely reasonable for the skills and service they offer. Ah Ting cuts superb hair!
Words cannot express how happy I am with my hair cut and blow dry. Ting was recommended to me by a friend. He did a phenomenal job. The lady that washes hair is also amazing. My scalp feels fresh and clean. Will be going back again.

i have been a client of ting's for over 17 years and i cannot imagine anyone else touching my hair. his quality cuts and expertise are above par, especially for the value. the long hair wash that is included is definitely a bonus. ting and his crew are worth the visit!
I don’t mind to pay three times higher price than the neighborhood if the quality and service deserve it, but I just can’t tell any difference between this $30 haircut than $10 in the neighborhood.
There are not prices posted anywhere unlike others on the window or front door, I walked in without even asking. 10 min later when I was paying, realized it was $30. I was surprised and questioned the owner, he then showed me a list price on a piece of paper.
I was hesitating to tip my barber since I felt I was charged unreasonable price at a dirty Chinatown area location, but it was not his fault, so generous rewarded him.
I felt like I stayed in motel 6 but paid a five star hotel price.
