I started my dreadlock journey in July of 2022. However, the journey started many months before that. From the moment I messaged Ezra with questions and started the process of scheduling, she was simply amazing. Easy to talk to, informative and patient. I wasn’t knowledgeable in the dreadlock world and Ezra made me feel at ease with any and all concerns. Even now, I know I can seek guidance from her anytime. I have made many trips for maintenance and attended multiple events created by this amazing community of people. It’s always a wonderful and peaceful experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and calming. Their shop has so much to offer and there is something for everyone. One of my favorite things to do is shop around and look at all the cool items for sale in their shop. From the music and the decor to the hugs and conversations, it’s a happy place for me. I would highly recommend Wyld Hare Dreadlocks to anyone who is seeking dreadlocks, braid-ins, maintenance and much more! They keep me and my dreadlocks looking and feeling their best. This establishment has had a huge and positive impact on my life and I have so much love for them ♥️

I don’t even know where to start. When you walk in, it is so much to take in, but in an amazing way. The whole energy and atmosphere of the space is absolutely incredible! I had no idea what I wanted for my braid in session and Lauren went to work straight away. She picked out the most beautiful set and went right to work. When I tell you I have NEVER felt more comfortable and confident in my own skin, I truly mean it! Amazing conversation, amazing atmosphere, amazing hair. If you have been thinking about it, reach out! They helped me so much, answered all of my questions, and really made me feel at home! Take the leap, you won’t regret it ????

I’m so glad I decided to start my journey with Wyld Hare. Everyone is so welcoming from the minute you walk in. The environment is just as welcoming and beautiful. Ezra and Raquel always made sure I was comfortable and happy throughout my two day install. All the people are very talented and amazing souls. I left extremely happy with my dreads and feeling part of the family.

I got a partial braid in on an undercut I was growing out here. This was 1st first experience with dreadlocks and it was amazing. The atmosphere is amazing and all 3 employees I engaged with were friendly and authentic. I felt at home and comfortable through the entire experience. Ezra was great with communication and consultation working up to my appointment. Ryan was very welcoming when I got there and a provided a stellar customer service experience. Lauren did my braid-in and she was amazing. She was up so helpful with all my newbie questions and I felt like I was chatting with old friends the entire time I was there. To have this caliber of a professional loc salon in this area is a true blessing. Also, the shop is filled with awesome art, plants, and other merchandise like jewelry and decor- and it’s all beautiful and great prices. I will def be back for more ????. 10/10.

I highly recommend this shop, and here is why: I have been from loctician to loctician throughout my 9 year journey and noone has been reliable prior to Wyld Hare. This is an actual salon, with an actual address, contact info, and they take appointments and photos after! These are not random humans at a festival willing to put their hands in my hair after paying outrageous amounts, these are people who love what they do and they do it for a very reasonable price. Ezra and her team and great, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, kind, and best of all they asked my wants! They even ask how you want your margins, and that's a game changer for me :). I cannot say enough good about this shop, so let me tell you about the location...Yellow Springs is the best town in the Tri-state area for good vibes and welcoming spirit! If you’re reading this, I highly recommend you trusting them to restore your hair! I’ve had dreadlocks since 2013 & 3 different sets.

No one has ever educated me on strengthening my hair or took the time fully save my hair. Plenty of times my stylist only recommended me cut or shave off my dying dreads.

Wild Hare offers plenty of options to save your dread locks. If you’re thinking “oh but I have corse hair, curly hair, even fine silky hair, or any other fears.” Trust me I did has well, & I’m floored with my results. What they offer is more than a stylist can give you.

If you’ve ever noticed thinning dreads but don't know how to save them or let hair grow out & don’t know how to merge it inside of the desired lock, I’m telling you no matter what kind of hair you have they will help you! I’m really big on energy & very picky about who I let touch my hair as well.

It was truly an honor to have both Ezra and Ryan start my loc journey!! Their energy, and the energy that has been cultivated within the studio, is filled with beautiful soul, magic, expertise, and a comfort that is hard to find. Ezra listened, validated, and guided me through concerns and hesitations regarding my hair prior to installation… and she did that with gentle knowledgeable grace as most stem from health issues. The conversation and company was as fulfilling as seeing the beautiful locs they created together ???? in 37 years in this planet, I’ve never been so happy and in love with my hair!!!

Traveling as extensively as my family and I have, I have experienced the best and the worst of locticians. I only trust TWO locticians with my son's hair. Wyld Hair, and one in Oklahoma. They were not only professional, incredibly talented, but also loving, and treated my son with so much respect, even though he was only 7. He chose this lifestyle for himself, and they let him advocate for himself and put us both at ease through the entire experience. We consider Wyld Hair to be more than service providers, we look forward to someday traveling back that direction, as we now consider them family.
