A little hidden gem hidden off of the beaten path. The catfish was excellent. Hot and fresh. My widfe loved her Philly steak sandwich. The fries were some of the best I have ever had. They also have a family recipe coleslaw that has to be tried. It is the best that I have ever had. You have to eat here. You will enjoy it.
What a delightful surprise in the midst of Crawfordsville. Nostalgic memorabilia from floor to ceiling is a feast for the eyes. Expect a full menu of Southern cuisine, so vegan/ vegetarian options are limited. Worth the drive!
Just OK. We had the Friday fish plate. The catfish was good, fries were cold and the slaw was odd. Customer service was ok, not great.
I've tried this place 3 separate times and all 3 times have been bad. My side dishes have been microwaved, and not evenly. I've got hot peas and corn mixed with nearly ice cold peas and corn. The entree isn't much better, all breading with no meat that's been sitting in gravy so long it's mushy. They get by being the only place in town, but trust me, it's worth driving to the next town for literally anything else.
The server's were friendly and quick to assist the table with refills and the like. I had a 1/2 slab of ribs, which basically fell off the bone and was very good. The rest of my table had the catfish and all agreed that it was good as well. I didn't have any so can't validate.
great place for good food. Went there twice while visiting my sister
Perfection! We found this unique cafe after visiting Parkin State Park. Having lived in the South for 50 years I have eaten a lot of fried catfish. The catfish at Wyatt’s was among the best I’ve ever eaten! If you like bread pudding then it’s well worth a 2 hour drive for dinner!
The home cooking here is filling and delicious, no matter what you get. They serve the tenderest roast beef on the planet and some of the best fried chicken you ever put your grinders on. They have a great event venue upstairs too, and are some of the kindest, friendliest folks you ever did business with. Highly recommend.
