Best WLM Reviews
Awesome spot in downtown Bentonville! We visited from KC and loved Wright’s Barbecue. I was most impressed with with their pulled pork and smoked chicken sandwiches. You must order the mac and cheese. The sauce was out of this world. They also have a toddler meal option for $2 which was perfect for our 3 year old. Our door seating was perfect in March.
Solid BBQ option for the area, and that's coming from a Texan. The staff were spot on with suggestions for sides, as well as subbing in turkey for ribs (they were out of ribs).
The Bold sauce was our favorite of the 3 offerings as well, if you're gonna use any sauce, which is absolutely not required.
Would eat here again.
Only "complaint" is limited seating inside, and it was cold out so outside wasn't an option for us with a baby (it was like 30°)...but we did get lucky enough to get a table by the time we made it through the line. Hence the quotes.
5 stars for food but 3 stars for service. All of the food was excellent. Had the family pack with chopped brisket and Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes and an extra side of baked beans. Was enough food for 2 adults and our 4 younger kids but it comes with four buns so we had to split/share those. The buns were good quality potato so half a bun was fine. Lots of black pepper is used in their food which I like. Went at a busy lunch time on Saturday and they ran out of pulled pork after I waited in line for 45 minutes. 45 minutes is too long for a counter serve where all the food is ready and sitting there. The main bottleneck seemed to me that most meats were in a warmer and only one guy was taking them out one at a time and chopping/slicing/weighing to order for each person that came through. They needed at least 2 people doing that or someone prepping it to be ready to go since it was so busy. Too many people were at bagging/register which was not the bottleneck. Fun atmosphere and loved the outdoor seating but the inside was blasting hard rock music way too loud and misery when you have to wait in there for 45 minutes. They did have baby chairs so I appreciated that too.
I love this place! Tender barbecue and more options on meats than just pork! You can also order sandwiches and a bunch of sides. You can watch as it's made right in front of you! The service here is always so open and friendly, plus the outdoor seating is calming on a nice day. (I had mine to go! Turkey sandwich with pickled onions and mashed potatos + 1 side for mac and cheese [ I really reccomend that one! ????❤️])
Fantastic flavorFULL BBQ meats, served fast tender and tasty. BBQ sauces excellent match for the smoked meats. Indoor booths and outdoor picnic table dining options. Can’t go Wrong @ Wright’s.
we had to come check it out, after the yelp reviews proclaiming that Wright's is the best BBQ in the country. So, yes, it is really excellent, ???? worth the ~30min wait in line. Tried the Texas trinity plate, and it didn't disappoint. I'm not a BBQ expert, so I can't say for sure it's the best in the country.... But I can't imagine how anyone can make BBQ better than this.
If you’re looking for genuine, authentic, and high quality BBQ, this is your place. The staff is welcoming and attentive. The food is fantastic. Prices are what you expect, but the portions are generous. Parking is not car friendly, but perfect for biking to the location.
4/1/23 - Came here for Bentonville Half Marathon. This is the 2nd time here and it tasted just as good as the first time. First time they ran out of brisket. Order the Texas Trinity as I wanted to try them all. The meats are nice and tender. The three sauces taste great, depending on what you like. The day that we went, they had prime ribs. I wish I could have tried it, but I couldn't as my buddies and I had to run the Half Marathon tomorrow and don't want to eat too much. Sides are tasty as well. Parking could be hard to find if they are busy. When it does get busy, its a long line. Overall, nice staff, great food, nice location.
