My wedding makeup and hair is something I was over the moon excited about. unfortunately this lady is so rude and disrespectful.
First and foremost when she first came to the house which has a no shoe rule she refused to take them off… whatever I didn’t really mind until… she began talking about my venue and how it’s definitely not worth as much as they were asking to sell it for which was weird but I’m a super easygoing bride so I let it slide. I had three bridesmaids, my mother, my mother in law to be, and me who all needed hair and makeup which would be done just by her. I wanted it to be an easy process for her so I picked the makeup and hair for my girls (as they all loved my vision) but she made a comment to one of my girls that it was unfair to them I was picking for them. I also had lashes for my wedding picked out for literally a year and she snapped at me that she had the same ones and not to use mine.
Here is where my patience began to be thin is when she told my father and father in law she wishes she was in there with them… then she snapped at me because I wanted freckles on my girls and she informed me she couldn’t do that (not a problem) I said I can do it no problem I brought my makeup anyway and lashes for my girls… she then was very rude and made it clear that this is what she does for a living snapping at me. This is when I had to leave the room or I was going to have a panic attack.
She was so rude about everything I wanted and expected.
She also didn’t have clean products at all! Very used and didn’t change applicators! GROSS!
Brides DO NOT book her trust me on this one.

The purpose of public reviews is to help people choose and be warned of potential disasters - my girls have both added reviews and the responses in themselves are childish, if the person whom showed up at our venue is not who was portrayed to be I would like to know WHO in the hell did you have come that I was unaware of??? I may self watched you put lipstick you pulled out of a bag of say 15 put it on me and place it back in the bag, your equipment was dirty and could tell not well kept, as for saying my daughter and our family was Bridezilla let’s just ask the photographer that was amazing and loved us, or the caterer, cake lady, all were professional and very kind. Further more i the Mother of the Bride is whom you would deal with she is not mute, this was her day not yours and I did not appreciate you trying to make it about you. You did mention a service dog, I assume you had a disability but if you needed a medication to function I should have known before I booked sessions with you. I assure you my 22 year old daughter is more of an adult than you for sure. Feel free to turn us in to any association you feel needed as we can tell them exactly how you acted.
Insulted the Bride
Upon arrival seemed friendly, a bit off, made comments to the Fathers walking through that she would rather be in there with them. Applied lip stick with original applicator that has been used on previous clients. Originally was down for one added lash application as the girls had there own, she insisted they use hers not theirs (which was the same brand) so she could have the $35 fee, when we insisted to use our own she snapped at the Bride also the Bride requested the same color pattern for her bridal party, she insulted and said it would not work the girls all had different face shapes and would not look like the picture she was shown (we were asking for the colors and style) The Bride and most of the Bridal party exited self, as she was working on a bridesmaid I was texted “She just asked me if we had a meeting about her, And went “she’s a bitch” Like mimicking us talking about her. She made the girls extremely uncomfortable! She made comments to me that my daughter the Bride did not seem happy “what?” I insisted she leave after myself and one other makeup application (that both had to be redone). I offered to pay for the two applications and she said “ I don’t want your money” Never would I Ever!
Also she gave full account of her last bad review, she calls “Bridezilla”, I truly wish I would have seen that review prior to booking, seriously would not recommend!
She was very rude to the bride and her bridal party. The makeup was bad and we eventually told her to leave because of her behavior and lackluster performance. I think it's clear by the way they make ad hominem attacks against reviewers that they are rude and uninterested in any feedback. That was certainly our experience, she basically refused to do anything the bride wanted her to do for the makeup. The only positive part of our experience was that we weren't charged for the two people she did garbage makeup for before we kicked her out
I worked with Ilizabeth to do hair and makeup for my small family wedding. She was awesome. We had enough people and services that she was willing to travel to us and brought a service partner (Karissa) to help out. They split up hair and makeup between them, and we all looked amazingly beautiful when they were done. Both were incredibly friendly and easy to work with. I would 100% recommend.

Ilizabeth did my hair for my wedding without even doing a practice run and it turned out FABULOUS! I got so many compliments on my hair!

I've been going to ilizabeth for cuts and color for at least 20 years. She always does a great job and I am frequently complimented by both friends and strangers. I particularly appreciate that she works quickly. I can get a cut and color in an hour and a half. She does a lot of weddings and takes classes to keep up on current styles. I really like her new salon in the Snowblaze building in Winter Park. It's a salon with a view of the mountains! I'd highly recommend Ilizabeth for all of your hair care needs.
Ilizabeth did a wonderful job highlighting and cutting my hair - exactly what I asked for! She also gave me great advice for managing my wavy hair, and I will definitely be back.
The makeup service here was very disappointing. It was not what I was expecting for my wedding and I was disappointed for how the bridal party was treated here. I explained my concerns but was still expected to pay the 20% tip since it was a party of 10. Although it’s in the contract, I tried to explain my concerns and she made it clear that she is sticking to the contract. I did end up paying the tip due to signing the contract but I am not happy with the service or aggressive response given from Liz when I addressed my concerns.
Also, clearly you can see what I’m saying from Liz’s angry response below. I was not extorting her for money…I paid the tip but was telling her how I would like to compromise since I had a bad experience. My experience was not worth a 20% tip and that’s all I was telling Liz. I gave her multiple examples of how horrific our time was and she made it clear she still is going to charge me for the tip.
