The Woodstock Country Store is a great place filled with convenient store items, fresh food (grinders/wraps/sandwiches, pizza, chicken wings, salads, etc.) and best of all the most wonderful staff! The gas station option will be a great addition to the newly revamped store as well as propane!
Tried their hot food twice. Buffalo chicken pizza had no flavor and cheeseburger grinder had hockey pucks for meat. Onion rings would have been good if they were not served in a sealed styrofoam tray that turns them soggy. It is like they want to be a little high end but don’t know how.
So glad the Woodstock valley country store finally opened! I live down the street and it will be super convenient. The store owners are so nice and happy and helpful. I had a bulky roll with boar's head meat and was very delicious. We are going to try there pizza this weekend. Beer ice cream snacks milk juice eggs gas and friendly service right down the road. What more could you ask for. Who needs Putnam. Lol Can't wait for the Indian food .thanks for opening. Hope you will be very successful

i went in there and got a pizza and as i got home and wanted to eat it the pizza dough was still raw so i brought it back and said in the nicest way that it was still raw he yelled at me and said this pizza is not raw and picked up a pice of my pizza with his hands and showed me that it was not raw he then proceed to say i know who you are get the F out my store and never come back i said still being nice and said why and he proceed to yell louder to get out of his store so i took my raw pizza and left
This is such an upgrade, much bigger store, variety, gas, pizza, subs, and name brand items. Owners are great and friendly. Hope they do great!!
I saw this place while I was driving around last weekend, and decided to give them a try today. Eh. It was okay. I've had worse pizza, but I've definitely had better. The sauce was the strong point. Very flavorful with a lot of garlic in it. I was a big fan. Unfortunately, the crust was on the level of gas station pizza, and they were very light with the cheese. On the bright side, they carry birch beer!
That said, another review says they use Boar's Head deli meats, so their sandwiches are probably good.
tldr; Don't bother with the pizza, but stop in to get a birch beer if you're in the area. Maybe grab a sandwich.
I have been going there for years and found the staff to be helpful and friendly. It's a small country store so they have only the basics for groceries but it's good quality. The take out food is good.
Once I had ordered lunch and found my car wouldn't start, and they graciously delivered my order - that was a kind and generous thing to do.
