Absolutely love the bakery barn. Bagels- the best. Cream cheese’s- wow. Coffees and teas- amazing. Staff- sweet as pie. Atmosphere- gorgeous. Any chance I get I love stopping in, they always have the most delicious baked goods and a peaceful homey feel. ????
Every day when I drop my son off at school I've got to stop in and get there cinnamon sugar apple cider donuts and I can't forget there apple crisp (witch is to die for) they are some of the friendliest people I've encountered on my journey. And of course when I pick my son up from school we'll stop in and he gets the things he likes. This place is a gem and if you ever are out cruising the back roads of Woodstock Connecticut this is a must place you need to stop and look at all of the homemade products they offer there's a separate building for that. I don't for see in the future that I'd stop ever going there's. You will believe happy you stopped at Woodstock Orchards.

A Beautiful orchard set in the hills of Woodstock. Pick your own apples or pumpkins. Or pick some from the country store. Amazing fresh pastries from the bakery.The best Apple donuts and cider plus a wide variety of jams,preserves,fresh produce,and Gorgeous mums.
Today we found ourselves having to change up from our traditional routine and place that we have gone apple picking for the last 10 years. Trying to schedule a reservation and work within the group sizes made it impossible for us to go there this year. That said it was still important to me that safety was clearly valued at whatever farm we went to pick apples. After talking with some friends Woodstock orchards moved to the top of the list and I am ever so happy that I gave it a try.
Pricing was pretty much what we paid at previous sites but there was no limitation to the size of our group which is handy when you have four children.The store had lots of additional options for us to pick up like apple cider donuts, candied apples, and fresh apple cider. All of which I felt was reasonably priced. Masks were worn inside all of the buildings and along common paths but once we were in the Apple tree rows and were not around any other groups we were able to take our masks off and taste some apples while we picked! While it seemed pretty busy when we arrived at the parking area other than the common paths to get to the picking areas we really didn't see anybody.
The only negative if I had to give one is that the parking situation is less than optimal and with a larger crowd there when we were leaving it was a bit of a wait to be able to get the extra items I wanted to buy. You can't go apple picking without buying a bag of fresh apple cider donuts. I'm pretty sure that's an arrestable crime at least it is with my family!
The Bakery is amazing. The pastries and coffee are top notch, but most importantly, the staff members are so sweet. I had my hands full with my toddler/baby and one of the workers helped bring the cider/cider donuts to my car. Been to the Bakery numerous times and I'll be back again.
Usually we go to a different local orchard. This year we decided to go to Woodstock. Now I regret not coming sooner. Great atmosphere. Awesome products. Friendly people.
By far the best cider I've ever had, they have a great selection of jelly and the baked goods are to die for. Highly recommend the oatmeal cookies and apple cider donuts. I've found my new favorite farm stand!
