I have a mother who knows nothing about automotive repair. This place takes advantage of people who don't know better. And if they know the person getting the repairs can afford the work, they'll keep on finding more and more and more and more things they say is necessary and critical for repair. I could go into details, but I'll just end this by saying I have zero trust in these people.
Friends recommend Woods thirteen years ago and that's where I've been going ever since. Good honest people. When they work on my vehicle I'm confident that it's going to run good. Thanks from the bottom of my heart.
Staff was pretty much unwelcoming, not very informative, and seemed as if they didn't really want to be bothered with me in general or my vehicle. Had no true concern for my vehicle, I left it with them a few days and after not hearing anything I called for an update and they didn't even know they had my car nor was it scheduled to be looked at until the day I called for an update which wouldn't be until 3 days later. I ultimately ended up finding a different mechanic shop to have my car towed to instead of waiting 5 whole days just to get a diagnosis. Overall an unpleasant experience, will never return especially since it seems as if my kind really isn't welcomed anyway.
I’ve had the most wonderful experience ever at this place! Cathy was amazing and so was the other lady (forgot her name so sorry) my transmission slipped a couple of times and people (my dad) told me I was going crazy.. brought it to them and told them what was going on with it and they told me it needed a new transmission. (Definitely expected this) I had an after market warranty so I was unsure how to handle the situation but they did everything for me. Fought with my warranty company for hours to get me the best deal possible. Shopped around for programming to the transmission so I wouldn’t have to pay as much. When I picked my car up I paid less than what they quoted me for. The people are very professional and amazing. 10/10 recommend !!!!
If I could give them 6 stars I would. Took my service request after lunch on a Friday. Had my car back running at a fantastic price in less than 3 hours. Could not recommend more.
Very friendly & professional.
Quickly took our car in to check it out, called with estimate and fixed the same day. Little high on price but reasonable. Convenient, was able to drop our car off after hours since they have a drop box for your keys.
Price was as quoted.
My son took his truck to Woods and payed 171$ for them to diagnose the issue! After 80$ they said we have to check the valve springs it will be 90$ more!!!! I was told by Bruce Jr that he personally checked the springs and none were bad! When I drove the truck home and took the valve cover off for the first time! Grime still around the heads of the bolts showed never being removed!( have video and will be posting on every business review website I can find) I fond the second intake valve spring broken! After replacing it the truck runs great! I hate being lied to right to my face so I will ve posting the video that's 5:49 long on every mechanics review website I can find!!!! You tube will be first so check it out!!!! Oh and I can't get them to answer the phone! My anger won't let me go out in person but they could've been honest and avoided this! Bruce Sr. You can still call me or come see me and take care of it! I'd be willing to give you credit if you do what's right and definitely apologize to my kid! We go way back and you know me! I don't do this usually so think about how serious I'am!! Are just go ask Jim,I already talked to him!
Mrs. Kathy is heaven sent. I’ve never worked with a mechanical shop that actually cared about their customers until now. The whole experience is mind blowing. I will definitely be telling everyone about Woods Automotive, I’ll never deal with any other mechanic shop again. Thank you!
