Wixon replaced our transmission control module after we had some issues with our Ford transit not starting and shifting/losing power during driving, a repair that was fairly expensive at around $2500, but came with a year warranty, etc.
Within a month we left town and drove up to Arkansas. While on that trip, we started having similar problems with the vehicle shifting strangely and not starting consistently. Eventually, it stop working mid-drive, on a hill, and wouldn't start up again at all. It had to be towed to a local shop there, who told us the transmission fluid had been over-filled and was burnt and that the transmission had to be replaced.
We called Wixon to inquire about any potential warranty with the work they had done and my husband spoke to Bubba. He wanted to talk to the shop up in Arkansas. We understood that so, we gave him the shop's info and he said he would call them.
He never reached out to them.
I called Wixon 3 times after that and spoke to Ryan inquiring about why this hadn't happened yet. He was friendly and each time told me he would pass the message to Luther or Bubba. No one ever called me back or the other shop.
I don't actually know whether their work was faulty, but I do know that they didn't follow through with what they said they would do. That seems important to me when choosing a shop.
Now we are stuck with another $7500 bill to replace a transmission on a vehicle with less than 20,000 miles, and months of no vehicle while we wait for parts to arrive.

Recently put new motor in my work jeep. Jeeps are not as dependable as rated,they constantly playing possum. Hidden problems even Bubba could not figure out. Good mechanic shop just had to bring business closer to home. Thanks for everything! WIXON AUTOMOTIVE is by far the most fairly priced, time efficient, and professional mechanic shop I have EVER been to. I dropped my truck off on a Friday evening at 5:30pm and received a full diagnostic analysis on Monday morning by 9:30am. The team at WIXON AUTOMOTIVE sent a software link that outlined each and every issue complete with detailed videos and pictures. The team replaced three manifold bolts, a rear pinion seal, ball joint, aft catylitic converter, oil pressure sensor, and transmission dip stick in a day and a half and the vehicle was ready for pickup by Wednesday morning bright and early. The pricing for parts and labor is so fair that I was litterally surprised to hear the final total. Bubba, Luther, and the team of mechanics are true businessman and extremely professional. I won't go to any other automotive shop besides WIXON from here on out.
