Best WLM Reviews

I had an incredible experience with my first tattoo and will be scheduling additional work as soon as possible.
Staff was professional and my artist (Krystal) was patient, accodimating and very authentic. She was receptive to my input and gave helpful feedback.
The healing process was quick and remarkably uneventful.
2nd tattoo (Owl) was a phenomenal experience. Krystal is a genuinely fantastic artist to work with, she was patient and invested in making the experience overwhelmingly positive. The Staff at shop is friendly, professional and helpful. The 2 pictures depict Day of Session and 3 Weeks After Session, the healing process has been very uneventful with no significant discomfort or complications.
I look forward to booking another session in the near future and would definitely recommend this shop to friends.
I recently went here for a tattoo with my friend and saw Krystal, the owner. Overall, our experience was disappointing. The apprentice, Kyra, was by far the highlight of the visit. She was lovely, very kind and friendly our entire time there. She greeted us and made us feel welcomed the moment we walked in. Krystal was not as welcoming. It was probably 15-20 minutes after our appointment time before she ever spoke to us (there were no other clients there at the time). It felt like our presence was more of an inconvenience than anything.
We talked to Krystal about the tattoo design we wanted and showed her a couple of photo references, pointing out exactly what elements we liked and didn’t like from each one. We asked for a flyer Peter Pan line art tattoo with a couple of small stars above him (you know, 2nd star to the right and straight on till morning). I showed her a photo reference for the pose that I wanted and said that I didn’t wanted any of the bubbles around him that the reference had, only that pose. I also said I’d like some of the lines to be open to give it more of a sketch drawing look.
When Krystal came back with her design, I was very happy with the pose and the overall look of Peter Pan. But she added A LOT of extras all around him including 6 large stars (most the size of his face) and a bunch of little bubbles everywhere. As a result, Peter Pan himself made up only about half the design.
I started asking for some changes to the design. I asked her to remove the two stars at the bottom and she became a bit defensive, saying it would have completely thrown off the balance of the tattoo and she would only agree to removing one of them (begrudgingly). At that point I realized that she wasn’t interested in giving me what I wanted so I shut down (I don’t handle conflict well). Since I was apparently stuck with all but one star, I had to opt for the smallest version of the tattoo (of the the three size options given) because it was the only one that didn’t leave me with stars on my cleavage which would have been a deal breaker for me. Again, I was afraid to even mention the other changes I wanted. I like the design, I guess, but I don’t love it, and it’s definitely not what I envisioned. The more I look at it, the more I wish I’d just walked out and tried again somewhere else.
The tattooing process was fine, I guess. She was quick, maybe a little too quick. She left both of us pretty bruised which neither of us had experienced with previous tattoos.
So basically, if you just like the high of getting tattoos and are willing to let your artist dictate the final look, go see Krystal. But if you know exactly what you want and want an artist who’s willing and eager to collaborate with you to give you the tattoo that you want and love, go see someone else.
I love coming here for all my art- art for my body and art for my home! Creativity is the name of the game here. Krystal transforms ideas into ART. I brought in a hand painted piece of art that I wanted on my leg, and she brought it to life perfectly! It’s healed up beautifully, no touch ups needed. It was my first color piece, so I was really nervous about the healing process. She reassured me and answered my hundred anxious questions kindly. Now I have her drawing a custom Studio Ghibli piece. She offers thoughtful, experienced suggestions and l can’t thank her enough for her beautiful work. I’ve never had a group of artists be so attentive, welcoming, and damn good at their jobs!
I currently have 2 tattoos and I have gotten them both from here, although the artist who did my first one is no longer working here, Crystal did my most recent one last week. She did an excellent job with my tattoo, which was a sigil designed to have a woodcut-print/rough-edged style to it, and she got it down perfectly, exactly as I had pictured it. I will definitely continue coming back for my future work. As far as the atmosphere goes, they're currently about to remodel, so I'm excited to see what the place will look like when I return.
This is my second time getting tattooed by the owner, Krystal. I basically gave her a really vague idea and a bunch of plants I wanted incorporated and she worked her magic and made it gorgeous. Very clean, very professional, and incredibly good at what she does.
Walked in on a whim on a Sunday afternoon and walked out with a beautiful new tattoo an hour or so later. The tattoo artists were fantastic to talk to and incredibly helpful. Menton3, the artist who inked me, produced a fantastic design and had applied it with an admirable alacrity. If I am in the market for tattoos again in the future, I'm sure I'll be going to Witching hour.
I had an appointment with Krystal and was very pleased. The shop was bright and clean with beautiful and unique art adorning the walls. Overall the shop and staff were very welcoming. Krystal communicated very well and was highly knowledgeable before, during and after the tattoo session. The work was quick and skillfully done. I purchased a jar of Wilde Autumn Apothecary balm for aftercare. It has a mild, pleasant scent and applies smoothly and absorbs nicely without leaving any unpleasant residue. I highly recommend this shop and will be returning for further work in the future. Thanks to the staff for such a pleasant experience.
I absolutely love this shop. It is where I will be getting all of my tattoos done from now on. Krystal, the owner, is friendly, professional, and helpful. I feel very comfortable in her shop. I talked with her about what I wanted, sent a few inspiration examples, and she came up with an amazing design that I'm very happy with. She works quickly and you get high quality art. We have a couple more sessions to finish up this piece on my upper arm and I'm looking forward to getting more from her. Also, there is some great local art on display for purchase, including jewelry, enamel pins, paintings, etc etc and it's all right up my alley! Definitely recommend!!
