Hard to find good quality traditional chicken wings out in this region, Wings and Things seems to have that ‘wing’ and ‘thing’ quality. Take out only, best to order ahead of time and pickup, although it can get busy in there. Another thing to add, there’s shelves of some groceries and snacks, including different canned/bottled beverages.
So happy that they put something at this location. Very friendly staff and extremely clean inside. I ordered in person and had to wait about 20 minutes for my food be ready. I got over $30 worth of stuff because everything looked so good. My wife got catfish and french fries and I got chicken wings and gizzards. I also got a large side order of breaded mushrooms and corn nuggets. The corn nuggets were amazing! Sweet corn packed inside of a breaded pocket about the size of a cheese curd. I could easily see myself going back in the future just for this.
When you order a drink they give you a can and they are located at the very front of the store behind glass. So it's not like a fountain drink or anything. They had cans of Coke and diet Coke Pepsi and diet Pepsi, Mountain Dew and a bunch of the Vess flavors.
My only complaint with the food is that it was salty. When I opened up my container I could see physical salt not only on the fries but on the chicken and the gizzards and it just seemed like it was all salted. Inside was a convenience store with everything you can possibly want from a normal convenience store. They had everything from locks and laundry detergent to candy and drinks. I had a large amount of smoking products. That's not my thing but it is one of the things I took a picture of
Was a bit hesitant ordering food from a place that was market as well. Little did I know that my thoughts were very wrong. I ordered a large Philly chicken sandwich. It came with a drink and fries for $12.99. I thought it was a reasonable price until I opened the box and saw that you get 2 decent size sandwiches with a good amount of fries. My meal could feed 2 people for the amount of food you get. Very good deal especially how good the food is! I waited 15 minutes which is not bad at all. Their menu is huge and have all different kinds of specials. The workers are really nice as well. Everyone should stop in there and give them a try.
Food was good. I had chicken and shrimp and they take EBT for the hot food. It was a nice experience and food was fresh and hot.

Best party wings around hands down, the seasoning they sprinkle on them are fiiiiirrree! The honey glaze sauce is where it's at and the fries are wonderful too. Pair it with a Faygo Cola or Dr. Faygo!
I ordered 2 - 4 piece catfish filet dinners. I stated that I wanted “2 tarter sauces per fish, so throw in 8-10” I even tipped to reinforce this behavior by the front counter girl. This meal cost ~$38 with a $4 tip.
I get home and get at least a dozen ketchup which we threw away. There were a grand total of 4 tarter sauce. It essentially ruined the meal because the fish was so salty and really greasy it needed the tarter sauce to make it edible.
It is really a shame that they can’t fulfill the most basic of a customer’s requests. Imagine losing a customer over 4-8 cents of condiments?
I guess I’ll resume the soup place on 50 in Fairview heights.
Went there yesterday November 18th to get some wings and fries. Ordered 10 garlic parmesan wings and fries, when I got home to eat my wings they were so tiny and half had no flavor on them and the other had little. I won't be going back.
