We always get great wings from Wing it on. The flavors are very good, and we like that they are labeled gluten free or not. We have gotten our orders with pickup and delivery, and have never had an issue with the food. Our go to place for wings!
Food is always fresh and delicious. They have a variety of sauces and rubs as well some great sides. Chicken sandwiches are crispy and moist. I would recommend allowing an extra few minutes when ordering ahead.
I went to the Waterbury location because it is close to my job. Parking right in front. You can take out, eat inside, or eat outside at one of the tables. You can order online through the app or at the kiosk in front. Technology is amazing. I ordered with the staff. Very polite and friendly.
The choice was tough for me. After bouncing back and forth I went with the dumplings. I figured anything I chose would be great. I was correct. The dumplings were what I expected and so much more thanks to the Mexican street corn that was added on top. I went with the waffle fries dusted with garlic Parmesan. Crispy and delicious, the garlic Parmesan put them over the top. Five stars!
Our wings were good but we ordered 30 wings and they do not give any celery or blue cheese, seems cheap to me to still have to pay for these things and they aren’t included with your order. They make you pay $.69 for each one no matter how many wings you get. We also ordered a small buffalo mac and cheese it was just wet cheese sauce with a hint of buffalo, When we lived in Waterbury we went all the time and the buffalo mac and cheese had chicken in it for the same price.
The prices were okay but I had to wait till the cook turned around to see me to put my order in. He was not very friendly at all he asked me if I wanted the sauce dry rub or wet it being my first time there I asked him what would he recommend he looked at me like I was crazy and said the dry. When I got my wings they were sooooo over cooked they were hard and dry and the dry rub didn’t taste like much of anything. I will not be back The service was rude, and the wings were mediocre.
Very upsetting ordering ahead of time just to get there and the online coupon that’s on my account doesn’t show up with my phone number at the store. And they can’t just put it in. I couldn’t use the coupon on the app because it doesn’t give you a code. So either I’m doing it wrong or the app just sucks. Idk it could be either of the 2 ????. But, seriously y'all get it together. I should have just stuck with my normal wings from chili’s. Unfortunately I was enticed by a coupon I couldn’t use. It expires in April but I’m not going back anytime soon…????
Food is always good. Wings are a great size. Just make sure the street corn is consistent. Some days it's great and some days it's okay.
I won't comment on atmosphere because I haven't been inside the restaurant in years.
The wings were prepared and sauced just the way my family and I like them. We ordered the classic style wings with our favorite wing it on sauce buffalo honey BBQ and they were amazing wings. They never disappoint. Recommend you try, you will love them.
