10/13/23- This is the first place where the 3 star score is because I'm really torn on how to rate them. This is because our food experience was so opposite ends of the spectrum. The sandwiches were horrible (totally 1 star food level). Not only were they basically made out of lunch meat, there was very little on them, and they were soggy. The donuts on the other hand were great. Like the cherry fritter I had was one of the best pastries I've ever had. I will say in some of my posts that your experience is based off what you order, and here it is totally true. Don't waste your time with any of the food here except the donuts.

Donuts are always good, service not so much. Came in and no one came up to counter, said hello so I could order and the gentlemen in back said to wait a minute. When he finally came to the front he was impatient and curt. Will definitely go somewhere else from now on. EDIT so the owner responded by telling the customer they should be more patient. Maybe a sign up front saying will be right back would help. We wouldn't want to put any undo pressure on the staff. And for clarity I arrived to the store at 430 pm not between 11pm and 12am. I suggest getting facts before replying. Good luck on your donut endeavors as well.

Got delivery on a very snowy day because my car wouldn't have made it in the weather - quick and timely, delicious donuts and iced coffee, very much appreciated!!

Winchell's donuts always hit the spot! Not to mention they have $3.50 burritos that are yummy and great for the price. The owners are always so kind and welcoming. If you are craving donuts for a good price and quality, this is the place to support!

This was my second time visiting this small donut shop. The donuts are fresh and tasty, the coffee is fresh and hot, and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. I will definitely return again.

I have been coming to this Winchells since 2007. They're always friendly. It has a family and neighborhood vibe. You want everybody to know your name ???? the doughnuts are so good. I'm going to try the breakfast burritos. I usually miss them because they sell out. I'll get one or two next time.
