Great cheese curds and friendly employees. Happy we stopped here. I didn't get a chance to try the beef liver but customers say it's worth getting.
I really enjoy this small town restaurant! The food is always warm, tasty and doesn't take forever to get. The servers are great. You don't have to wait for a refill on drinks; they are very attentive to that. The country breakfast bowl is one of my favorite meals. If I had to pick on something it would be with two of the pies. Their pies are awesome, but I cannot taste the peanut butter in the peanut butter or the chocolate/peanut butter pie. I think it might be that they seem to use some kind of peanut butter crumbles for the peanut butter flavor and that just doesn't seem to give the good peanut butter taste.
Absolute gold! Scratch meals. Special was chicken and dumplings with hand rolled egg noodles! Atleast 8 different pies made fresh. Had the apple, strawberry rhubarb while there. Enjoyed them so much I took a whole coconut cream home, I live in Michigan! If you're driving by get off the freeway and enjoy some of the best food this side of the Mississippi...
Great little diner. I had the Big Texas sandwich and fries and it was tasty with large portion. Service was reasonably quick. The restaurant was clean and tidy.
Nice little hometown Cafe. The service was friendly and prompt. The restaurant is clean and appears to have been remodeled, but feels a bit sterile. I was disappointed with my $12 BBQ burger - the patty seemed generic and un seasoned and potato chips like supermarket brand. My companion's chicken wrap and crinkle fries looked really good and she was very pleased with them. The wide variety of pies was very tempting.
Had the Willy burger, cheese and "grilled onions ". It was a fair burger but the chopped onions would be better if they were sliced and really grilled they would be better. Fries were decent. Ordered the pecan pie, not bad but the crust was a bit tough.
Stopped here for lunch today. We both had the chicken wrap, one with French fries and one with chips. We have been on a road trip for two weeks and this was the best lunch we have had. The wraps were fresh and the portions were generous, I couldn’t finish mine. The service was great, the cafe was clean and so were the restrooms. I highly recommend the Cafe.
This used to be Bob's Restaurant in Woodburn, IN. The new owners have remodeled, adding cutting boards as decorations & giving it a fresh look. Food is down-home type...breakfast was great, with quick & attentive service, & endless coffee. Reasonably priced, also.
