This place is a treasure. Erick was and amazing server/bartender. He helped us make some appetizer choices and he was spot on. The fried pickles, steak fingers and tater tots with cajun seasoning were absolutely delicious ????
The food was hot and fresh and pickles are made in-house. The man mimosa was super tasty too. The location is clean and the staff is friendly and professional. The service was really what you’d like all your dining experiences to be. They have plenty of parking and an outdoor seating area. Ten out of ten totally recommend. Look forward to my next visit to Oregon and stopping by to try more items at the Wild Goat. Thank you, Erick!
We got potato skins and they were huge. Very filling in their own. Got pork tacos and they were amazing. The pot stickers were perfectly fried. Bar tender was great as well. We will be back again.
I have to say I was pretty disappointed with the $20 salad I purchased. It was served with maybe less than 4 ounces of room temperature steak, cucumber and Romain lettuce and a side of dressing. Reasons were they ran out of mushrooms, tomatoes and that onions were in the salad (they weren’t). A far cry from what the menu said.
Beer was not that cold.
Bartender was eating behind the bar between serving folks which I personally find unprofessional.
Both bartender and chef went out to smoke
leaving the bar unattended for nearly 5 full minutes (an unanswered phone call came in during that time as well).
Overall, it sounds like these guy were run tired. They said they were there until 4:30 that morning and barely slept.
I’d recommend eating anywhere else than here. Drinks-maybe. Not food though.
Management may need to make some adjustments.
My husband and I were in town for only one night as we are traveling. The Wild Goat was recommended from the front desk at our hotel as it was walking distance. I had their pulled pork and my husband had their beef stroganoff (the special) both were delicious. The only negative I can say is the french fries looked amazing but they were chewy. It's ok because I filled up on the pulled pork. The food came out fast, hot and fresh.
The bartender was super attentive, drinks hit the spot after a long day of traveling.
If we come back through Eugene, we will definitely come back!
Loved this place. My boyfriend and I went here for breakfast and the bloody Mary’s were delicious and food was delicious too. Great service and wonderful energy.
Our server was wonderful! She was attentive and knew just when to ask if I needed another drink. I ordered wings with buffalo sauce. The wings were a little over cooked, but the sauce was superb. Tangy with a little more spice than any others I’ve tasted.
Me go for lunch today. A Girl Server really slow I wait food around 1.30 h. I feel so bad. a Couple come after us get food first. And Server talking and smiled with them. But with us her face change. Food taste fine.
Great food, big portions. But really what got me what the service. I had an absolutely awful day that included my bus into town being late to a funeral of a loved one, and my phone dying in a city I don’t know at all. Stacy was so gracious and kind when me and my kiddo wandered in looking for a charger, she got us water and told us to stay as long as we needed to. The day turned much better and we came back the next day for some truly outstanding nachos. Thank you so much Wild Goat and Stacy! You made a bright spot in a really rough time for my family. And the crema sauce for the nachos is divine!
