Best WLM Reviews
My husband and I are visiting family and we came here on a whim just to see what it was about.
When I tell you that this was the best food decision we made since being here.
Our server, Liz, was really great in her suggestions for food....so much so we got the things she said were delicious.
My husband ordered the "Kelly KY Brown" with the grits of the day and it was so flavorful and had all the right ingredients to hit every taste bud just right.
I ordered the "Buffalo Chicken" omelet with the homemade blueberry muffin, the cream cheese is such a unique flavor for this omelet that it just WORKED. The sauces on top were good on their own but on the omelet it was just over the edge with such great flavor.
The peach mimosa, I had 2, and they were in such a great ratio that I didn't even taste the champagne.
If you do decided to come here, it will be a very fantastic decision. Enjoy y'all.
Stephanie was a delight! Enjoyed it so much that while I was in Louisville I went to the location there. I am a vegetarian & I loved what I ate & felt like they had plenty of Vegetarian selections! Not too long of a wait either! Thanks for your lovely service, Stephanie. I look forward to coming back next time I visit Lexington!
Service was good, the food arrived very quickly but mine was barely warm. ???? Ironically, another patron at our table received food that was too hot to eat. Enjoyed the decor and general vibe of this restaurant. I will likely visit again.
Update 4.14.2024: I had previously mentioned that I was glad Wild Eggs was taking reservations. I logged into their website a few days ago and tried to make a reservation for 6. I received a message "Please call the restaurant for specific availability". I called them the next day and specified the day, time, and number of guests. The customer service rep said I needed to make the reservation online. I reminded him that my guests exceeded 6 and that the website said I had to call. He said that they don't take reservations over the phone and suggested that someone in our party arrive before our desired time to check in to hold a table for us. So, if I want to bring more people, and spend more money, I need to inconvenience myself or someone in our party. The logic does not make sense. We chose to go to a competitor's restaurant instead.
Previous Post: This is a go to restaurant for our family. The food and service are always great. We have never had any issues during any of our visits. Previously, you would need to get to the restaurant super early to get seated without a wait. However, recently they have added an online reservation system which I appreciate. I have tried multiple things on the menu (Biscuits & Gravy, Crabby Patty Bennie, Kalamity Katie’s Border Benedict, Kelsey KY Brown, Breakfast Burrito, Farmers Market Skillet, and Potato Head Casserole) and they were all good. However, I would have to say that my favorites would be Potato Head Casserole, Kelsey KY Brown, and Biscuits & Gravy. My husband always gets the Buffalo Chicken Omelet.
How can you not love Wild Eggs! It is breakfast simple but also elevated. Whether you are in the mood for a made to order classic like steak and eggs or oatmeal, or a speciality offering from their seasonal menus I have never been disappointed with their food or service.
Our server Will was perfect and very attentive. The food was spot on as ordered and perfect in both preparation, presentation and seasoning.
Well-rounded menu that covers a lot of breakfast options and a little lunch. Obviously the ‘everything muffin’ is a solid staple here - it’s like getting a cheddar bay biscuit at red lobster. Staff were friendly (Timara was great!) and helpful, and the special holiday drinks were nice. All the food came out together, quickly, and warm.
I like a lot of things thick including my pancakes and WildEggs did not disappoint. The pancakes were fluffy like like a perfect syrup sponge yet perfectly thick that they would give Kim K a run for her money! The mimosas were perfectly balanced and worth the money. The biscuits and gravy might be my second love in life now. The biscuits and gravy had a great ratio and seasoned great. The bacon on the side was cooked beautifully but a little salty. But the value for your money is great. If you want to get stuffed while still keeping your wallet stuffed this is the place to go.
It was solo dining. My server was great, very attentive, but also gave me a room to enjoy my meal. I love their potato head casserole and that's what I got, except I asked for egg whites for my eggs. The coffee was fresh and hot. It's a bit out of my way, but I was in the area, so I was glad to stop by and I was glad I was hungry. :)
