Revisited: after owner attempted to address my grievance.
Wife Saver on Fury’s Ferry Road, Evans,
The Mac and Cheese was fantastic
Banana pudding was pretty good.
Overall you will enjoy this restaurant and it’s priced perfect for large family gatherings and groups.
The entrance and exits need to be clearly defined
The restrooms need to be cleaned at least once an hour.
The manager needs to be able to make quick decisions that do not cost the store a sale.
My recent visit to Wife Saver on Fury’s Ferry Road left much to be desired.
One glaring issue was their discriminatory pricing policy, where they charge extra based on payment method, favoring cash over credit.
The kitchen staff's appearance in an open kitchen is noticed by customers and if legs are shaved shorts would be fine.
Current Health Score (photos ) 96 not bad but 4 points indicates a serious violation
No one visit can truly capture a restaurant’s operation or do much more than give a glimpse as to one’s perspective, but this is a solid dining choice that unfortunately rubbed me the wrong way.
Attention need to be paid to details in cleaning
Chair legs, table bases, soda machine, hand towels dispenser, around cash register, baseboards, and corners.
We placed a large order for our Mother's Day family dinner. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. The service was excellent the order was ready for pick up when promised. They forgot our 5lb banana pudding, but before we even noticed it, the young lady called us. She apologized, and delivered it to our address in just a few minutes. Now that is what I call service. We really enjoy this Wife Saver. The food, Staff and service are the best. Thanks for making our dinner great.
When there are multiple locations of the same restaurant, it's hard to know which is the best. Our favorite Wife Saver is the one on Furys Ferry. The food is always hot and fresh, the service is friendly, and portions are generous. We highly recommend the chicken fingers, fried okra, and green beans. So sad they no longer offer biscuits, but the sweet rolls and crunchy hush puppies are solid alternatives. Pro top: Save yourself some time and trouble and order a fried turkey for Thanksgiving. You won't regret it!
Wife Savers is one of our first restaurant discoveries when we moved to Georgia and is still one of our faves.
It has a large dining area making it easy for diners to spread out and have their own personal space.
I like the variety of menu items and the reasonable prices. Sometimes eating here is no higher than eating st a fast food restaurant.
The online ordering feature is terrific. Place your order, pick a time, and your food will be ready for pick up at the chosen time.
I highly recommend Wife Savers.
It's not fancy, but it's a local institution. Food is always decent and this is the location to pick up Master's themed treats near the event.
WifeSavers gives back to and supports local organizations. Definitely support this small business!
Just not good, fried chicken was pretty dry, cornbread was not so bland that after a couple bites I tossed it away. But the absolute worst is the "side" dish size. I have seen larger serving sizes at Costco as samplers. It is about the size of a large spoonful. This is just sad.
Sometimes you may get fresh food but more often than not you don't. Drive thru staff is rude and will rush you off after you may have waited 15-20 minutes. The macaroni and broccoli casserole used to be my favorite. This past weekend the casserole was dark brown and tasted horrible and the macaroni was soupy and equally bad. Still one of the cheapest places to get an 8 piece dark but not worth the price otherwise or the tremendous wait time. Not authentic country tasting either.. it's an attempt but not a good one.
On the other hand, banana pudding is always on point ☝️
I had drive thru carryout of chicken fried steak with mased and Limassol. Tasty and still hot enough 20 min later at home.
