Chris, the owner of Wicked Wrenches, has always been more than reasonable and honest in everything he charged as well as the work he has done! Never had a negative experience regarding him and his shop. On August 20, 2022 we had our truck towed to this business. We needed a new transmission ☹️. We purchased a high end performance transmission so we didn't have any trouble pulling our 5th wheel for the price of $8800.00. We picked the truck up on October 3, 2022 and drove it 50 miles home. We didn't drive it throughout the week until October 10, 2022 which it then started acting up, we barely got it back to Wicked Wrenches. We were told they would need to check it out and see what's going on. We were left to find our own way home. A few weeks went on and we are told it has a bad torque converter, it will be a few weeks..... Waiting waiting waiting, then it needs a while me transmission, waiting waiting waiting.... Finally we are told after we called on March 3, 2023 that it's arrived BUT there are other vehicles in the bays that will be there awhile so they don't know when they can get to it!!! Okay, I hate writing bad reviews, it take take allot to push me to this point. But they have had our truck since August 20, 2022 ( except for the week we had it back ) and they won't make time to get it finally done!!!!! I could probably have overlooked the 6 mos they have had it, but now you won't get it done??

This shop deserves 5+ stars!! We are traveling cross country and ran into some car trouble that needed immediate service in order for us to continue our trip. I called Wicked Wrenches and the owner Chris did everything he could to get our Jeep seen right away with no appointment. The mechanic Michael fixed the issue and had us back on the road within an hour. We could not be more thankful for their help. We highly recommend you give them a call for any of your vehicle needs!!

I was hesitant to try a local shop but im so glad I did. The owner was extremely nice and helpful. I was just visiting rapid city and needed an alternator ASAP and he was able to put a new alternator in the same day for a fair price.

Wicked wrenches also called me the next day to follow up and make sure everything was good with my car. Excellent customer service, I will definitely recommend and go back for any auto needs!

I have never been a patron to this business, but as I was getting ready to walk in the door to become one, I was standing outside of the locked front door at about 2 o’clock in the afternoon and after hearing the way that he talked to two other customers that were there, but all they wanted to do was pick up their parts and their vehicles because of bad service I would never go there. He was never apologetic. He was never nice. He was rude and arrogant to those people. there was another gentleman there with a different business shop name on the back of his shirt loading stuff up that gentleman was so polite. That is where I ended up going,

Traveling through from Indiana with a travel trailer and ran into transmission issues. Owner ran the codes for free and explained the issues to my husband. Unfortunately, it would take a week to get the parts in, but he would have fixed it right then if he could. Very nice and appreciated the help. If it was not so massive of a breakdown with complex parts needing ordered I know he would have had us back on the road same day. Greatly appreciated his time!

Traveling from out of town and hit a deer. Went in early Monday morning and Chris ordered all the necessary parts to work on the truck Tuesday morning. Got on the road the next day and had a very minor issue on the way home. I talked to Chris and he worked with my local mechanic to get it solved. No issues, sound work and reasonable rates. Definitely would go back if in rapid city.

Found these guys online. So glad we did..they are super professional, fun and the owner Chris and his wife are simply amazing. Service was super fast and reasonable. They even loaned us a car to go and eat while he worked on our truck. We will definitely be back. Great customer service experience.
