Hands down the best shop I've ever been to! I originally reached out to them wanting a memorial tattoo for my grandson, who passed away from cancer at the age of 5. I had a few ideas that I wanted to incorporate. I wanted a new school, a green dinosaur, the yellow cancer ribbon, my grandsons name and dates. The reason I chose New School was because to me it's bright and "kiddish," and that's how i will always remember my grandson. I spoke with Heather (via text). She was absolutely amazing. Asking me questions about my grandson, and she fit me in her schedule since I was only going to be in Oregon for a few more weeks.
I honestly had no idea what to expect, but when I got to the shop and I saw her drawing, I instantly became teary-eyed. It was perfect! She took the main elements I wanted and incorporated things from my conversation with her. She truly went above and beyond and created this beautiful piece of art that has the most meaning to me.
I honestly can't thank Heather enough! She explained her process, and we talked about everything under the sun. I felt completely comfortable the entire time I was there.
Before getting your next tattoo, you really need to reach out to Heather first! You will not be disappointed! (My husband got the same tattoo as well)

Hands down the best tattoo experience I have ever had. First off, Heather and the rest of the crew are super nice people and the general vibe in the shop puts you at ease. I booked my appointment with Heather, and she was an absolute pleasure. Sweet, funny, accommodating, and insanely talented. I am IN LOVE with the piece she did for me, and I will definitely be back. I cannot say enough positive things about this shop, anyone looking for a world-class tattoo- do yourself a favor and check this place out.
Heather did an amazing job with my tattoo!! I LOVE IT!! I highly recommend going to her! Just got my second tattoo there yesterday and my experience was so amazing! Heather Maranda is the perfect tattoo artist if you are looking for someone who is kind and sweet and hilarious as hell! When she tattoos, she is smooth and really fast at it! This tattoo took about 4 ish hours and I'm so in love with it! Get your tattoos here! I know I will be back for future tattoos there! BRING YOUR FRIENDS!
