Best oxtail plate I’ve ever had. Perfect seasoning, falls off the bone, and all the sides are equally as good. Came here on a whim and it ended up being one of my favorite spots. Large plate was big enough to split between two people for about $28.

I came to this restaurant looking for the best Jamaican food in town. We ordered the curry goat and it was just amazing. You have to come to this place and try their menu. It’s one of the best places for Jamaican food. You can come in and try everything on the menu. I recommend to try the curry goat.
The food was okay. Not great and not bad. But the price to portion ratio was WAY off almost $70 for 2 dishes. I could go to a fancy restaurant for that. And the portions were rather small (period but ESPECIALLY after co soldering price )
The service wasn’t great either. With the food already pre ordered a line of 5 ppl took 30 min.
For example instead of being my $5 change the woman decided to help another customer (though I already paid and had my food). She just left me waiting for 10 more min.
It was back and forth half service for everyone which is why it took so long.
First visit and we couldn’t be more satisfied!The oxtails are fire. 5-stars all day. The vibe here is inviting. I felt welcomed the moment I stepped in the door. Thanks, Janet. We’ll be back again soon.
By far the best Jamaican food I've had in LA. Been here 3yrs from Florida, tried various Caribbean restaurants and yup. This one has been the best. I was even pleasantly surprised by the customer service (in florida they almost don't care to service you lol) this lady was warm and friendly. Love it, will be back. Oh, the small portion of brown strew chicken was huge! And Under $20 dollars???????????? win win win
used to get jerk chicken and oxtails from here years ago. portions are now insultingly small and overpriced. Chicken is dry and I won't be back or have anything good to say about this place. What a shame I have never seen a chicken wing cut up into so many pieces. the portion of the wing that has no meat was cut and included. Extremely disappointed!
To start off this is a Covid-19 Safe Establishment. Pick ups & Ordering are all placed outside the restaurant. If you want your order fast then go on uber eats and place it, and you want have to wait in that long line. The food was awesome definitely hit the spot. And a big plus to them for having Turkey bacon as well. The potatoes were great, soft & seasoned to perfection. I can’t wait to go back.
This place is no frills, relaxed, and focused on the food - which is delicious. Ordered the spicy jerk chicken with rice, beans, and cabbage to-go - I got a small ($18) and felt the portion was more than enough. Liked the char and seasoning on the chicken, and loved how the heat built up was flavorful and not just spicy for the sake of being spicy. The cabbage had nice acidity to cut through the spice. Can’t wait to go back and try the goat curry.
My partner got a beef patty which was flaky and good as a snack but the main entrees are where it’s at!!
FYI at the time I went, their credit card machine was down so had to pay with cash! Just call ahead and be prepared.
