I just love how how healthy bouncy and silky they have my hair on all visits.
It was my first time coming to this hair salon to get a Dominican blowout and I loved the results. My only two concerns were the lady washing my hair was way too rough and she was combing my hair out of my scalp instead of detangling correctly. I have natural 4c textured hair and I would appreciate it if they would be gentle. My second concern is when they flat iron they don’t give you what you ask for, for example I asked for my hair to be bumped. Instead she had me walking out with straight hair. I recommend this place because they are friendly and get the job done.
Dominican shop, very nice ladies. Seated me immediately. I asked for curls 2x and no curls. It's all good though $45 for wash n blow on short hair is a Lil much in my opinion
they need to do a lil better with the time organization bc I got my hair washed and it hurted, it was not enjoyable then I had to wait an extra 2 hours to get it flat iorned bc I got a silk press . I also told her to make sure she put heat protector on bc I didn’t want any heat damage. First time getting my hair flat iorned In like 5 years and I loved it . Curls did come back
I went into Vanessa’s today with my daughter. Her hair was already shampooed, conditioned and detangled. I also bought my own Kenra blow dry spray. I walked in at 11:46a and there were only 2 other ladies waiting and from what I I can see 4 workers. I waited for I over and hour and a half no one said a word to us the other customers was leaving and the workers was talking amongst themselves. You would think they would be courteous enough to say we’ll be with you in a few minutes or something but nothing. It was if we weren’t there. They lost out on $50 and a $25 tip. behind horrible customer service.My advice is to be prepared to wait and if you want a salon with good customer service this one is not the one.
Relatively quick service considering most patrons are walk ins. Hair transformations occur here. All clients leave with a style that's silky smooth and flawless.
Appointments can be made, but are sometimes not honored as you still have to get in line on a list to be seen. That system needs adjusting.
I come all the way from Mississippi to get my hair done here. The ladies here always take good care of me. They are great at doing natural hair. I leave with my hair feeling nice and light. I highly recommend them ( and I’m picky). I normally get my hair done by Esperanza, but they are all good.
