Had afternoon tea to celebrate mum's birthday. It was gorgeous. Nice sandwiches with warm haggis balls, savoury tarts and kilted sausages as a start with scones and a good selection of bitesize cake, brownies etc. At only £36 for 4, it was more than good value. Good service too, and mum got a birthday card. Thoroughly recommend.

Excellent food, great service, definitely will be going back. The best cheesecake I ever had.

We ate there on Sunday, with two roasts on the menu, and a few other dishes (one vegetarian, one fish option). Nice selection of Starters and desserts to choose from too. I ate crab, smoked salmon and prawns starter with a seafood dressing and salad, followed by roast generous roast beef with Yorkshire pudding, roast potatoes. There was a good selection of nicely prepared vegetables for us all too.

Kids were able to choose from a kids menu, with options like chicken nuggets and fish fingers made fresh in the restaurant, and also from the main menu for a small portion at kids prices.

Great meal with friends tonight - amazing fish and chips, wonderful raspberry torte. All at an excellent price in lovely surrounding with good service. Thanks Tynehouse Kitchen.

Got the lasagna, not the amazing result i had hoped for - a bit sloppy and not as tasty as i expected after being told i wouldnt regret ordering it.

Also, issues with the website let this place down - needs fixing quickly.

Newly opened place in Haddington in amazing surroundings. Great food at very good price excellent service. I would strongly recommend this place
