My first time using The Nail Place was a very pleasant experience! Hannah was so warm and inviting. My experience at some nail establishments are not pleasant at all. That was the first thing I noticed here how they invited me in and made me feel comfortable. The soothing music was so calming and as it played everyone receiving service was just sitting quiet and/or had their eyes closed as if they were in a spa. An older gentleman named Tony did the polish change on my toes and it was nice. He repaired a broken big toenail with acrylic for me. Then Kevin did my nails. At other places I’m used to having my dip powder soaked off each time with tips on and charged for the soak off but Kevin filed all the powder off and kept the tips on giving my real nail time to grow out. The other places will soak the nail and tip off and charge you for a new set of tips & the soak off each time. I will definitely be coming back because they do what’s best for the customer here! Kevin did an amazing job on my nails! It was almost like a machine did them. The shape was on point! No lumps, no bumps, all smooth! I can’t stop looking at my nails and not to mention the compliments I got on them this week!

The nail place always does a great job and I have been going to them for approx. 4 years. Every nail tech there gives the same great service and they take walk-ins or appointments. I have short nails and keep things pretty basic and they do a great job with mine. I’ve also seen them do some designs and fancier things on longer nails. I recommend you try it out.

EDIT: I still come here and I truly love this place. I can watch tv or fall asleep while getting my nails done, it’s so relaxing. Kevin is so talented! Today, I went to get a new set. I wanted a certain design with my nails and I showed him a picture. Lemme tell you, I was beyond impressed he only had to look twice and was SPOT ON with it! I also have never gotten red nails and I didn’t know how I would feel about it before getting them done, but I really, really love these nails.❣️ I really do love coming and I’m so overjoyed with my nails when I leave. I feel stunning! I get compliments all the time and I recommend this place to anyone who asks! Amazing work, great customer service & on top of that, a great price! I can’t resist! I travel from half an hour away just to come here. I’ve came here twice now and each time has been consistent with great customer service and amazing nails! The lady who answers the phone is such a sweetheart & the man who has done my nails both times now is very detail-oriented and exceeds my expectations. My nails looked great for three weeks before I decided I needed to get them filled in and I’ve gotten compliments at work! I highly suggest this place. I have tried other nail salons around Hoover and Birmingham but this place is the spot! I love this establishment, and I’ll definitely be a regular here. If I can give them more stars, I would. Blue is my first time with a new set from them, and the pink is my second time when I needed a fill in..????

I absolutely love The Nail Place! Every time I go, I have a wonderful experience and love my nails and toes for weeks to come. Hanna and Amy do an amazing job, along with everyone else that works at The Nail Place! It is the only place my mom, sister, and I will go!

Great pedicures from the older gentleman and he's very sweet. As far as a full set the the younger guy is great and pretty good with a simple design. Just make sure they are dry!! Even if he says it's dry. Don't be in a hurry going in, they are very slow paced.

Wonderful pedicure. So relaxing. The best I've ever had!. I showed the nail tech a picture of the fingernails I wanted and the dip powder he used was perfect. I've received so many compliments. I will definitely go back for future manicures and pedicures..

I have an acrylic allergy so I have been coming here for dip powder nails and the shop, staff, and service has been great! My nails look amazing every time. The shop is clean and smells good and the staff is friendly and honest about what they can and cannot do. This is my new place.

I called to see if I could be a walk in , and yes I was welcome to come on in, plus I given perfect directions there as well. I was welcomed in with a smile. My nails were a mess, but beautiful when I left. It’s hard to find good customer service these days, I found it there. I’m very pleased.
