Best WLM Reviews

I have been a patient at this practice for about a year and have had the pleasure of being treated by both Fiona and Vicki. From my very first visit, I have been consistently impressed by their professionalism, care, and compassion. Fiona has always been attentive and thorough, ensuring that I felt heard and understood. Recently, I have started seeing Vicki, and she has continued the same level of exceptional care. Both Fiona and Vicki are the first doctors who truly listen to me, taking the time to understand the complexities of my health issues.
In addition to the excellent medical care, the nurses and reception team are always thoughtful and caring. They contribute significantly to the welcoming and supportive atmosphere of the practice.
Their dedication to patient care is evident in every appointment. They approach my concerns with empathy and provide thoughtful, comprehensive treatment plans. I highly recommend this practice to anyone seeking a medical team that genuinely cares about their patients' well-being.
Thank you, Fiona and Vicki, along with the wonderful nurses and reception team, for your outstanding care and support.
We feel very lucky to be registered at the Good Medicine Clinic. Having arrived in Nz about a year ago, we initially struggled to find good support services for our family. We were initially at another clinic however after issues with our young baby sons health, where we (as new parents) were made to feel stupid and melodramatic about his issues, we were fortunate enough to be accepted as patients at the good medicine clinic. Dr Fiona was amazingly patient, helpful and thorough and quickly got to the bottom of our sons issues (turns out he was lactose intolerant). We are very grateful for all the support they provide our family and can only recommend them highly
Had an appointment with Dr Douglas Winter as my regular doctor was unavailable. I felt Dr Winter was unfriendly and very impersonal. He was extremely focused on note taking to the exclusion of everything else. He brushed off anything I tried to add that was not a direct answer to one of his questions. The note taking took up the majority of the appointment. Though some might say that was thorough I felt like a "pretend" patient in a medical school exam where the person is not really seen...only the symptoms. If you are a middle aged woman, Dr Fiona Gordon is much more likely to treat you as both patient and human.
This is literally the best medical center in NZ!!
The nurse, the doctors, everyone is so caring and kind at the good medicine. they listen to you, no matter how long you are inside talking to them, they carefully listen to everything you say and feel. You can really tell they care about you and don't see you as a number.
Fiona has been exceptional, since day one! when I joined the good medicine, because I had depression, she try to helped me as much as possible, with everything, even things related to work.
I have seen most of the doctors at the good medicine and I can guarantee all of them are extremely kind, caring, supportive and super humans.
I'm happy I came across to this medical center.
If you are looking for support, a good treatment, kindness, and some laughs, this is the place to go to!
I had a booked appointment at The Good Medicine Clinic this morning to get a mole on my face examined. About 30 minutes before my appointment, I called the clinic to explain that my pregnant fiancée has been sick with the flu and a bacterial chest and lung infection. I mentioned that I had taken two COVID-19 tests, both negative, but I was feeling unwell. The receptionist's response was incredibly unempathetic. She told me I couldn't see the doctor until I was feeling better, and even suggested I take Panadol and drink water. I was shocked that a receptionist was trying to diagnose me and give medical advice over the phone. This policy of not allowing patients to see a doctor if they're feeling unwell is ridiculous. When I was a child and had similar symptoms, the doctor's advice to "sleep it off" almost cost me my life. I had meningococcal meningitis, and it was fortunate my parents trusted their instincts and took me to the hospital. The fact that the receptionist at The Good Medicine Clinic feels qualified to diagnose patients is appalling. I urge anyone concerned about their health to steer clear of this place.
Dr Fiona and her team provide gold standard A+++ healthcare. I feel so lucky to be a patient on Fiona's books. Thank you for everything, guys!
Had two appointments with Dr Douglas Winter and couldn’t speak highly enough of his manner and professionalism with me.
He listens and addresses your concerns in a efficient and sympathetic manner.
Highly recommended.
This is a really wonderful family doctor's practice, that I couldn't recommend highly enough. They are both personable and professional. I always feel that my doctor has taken the time to review my case history before I see her and is fully informed about my circumstances and history. I have never felt rushed in any way and find that the whole team really take the time and care to do a very thorough and professional job.
