Best WLM Reviews
This place was s a gem in the rough for my dining experience. I normally do not eat soup with chicken in it's name but the waitress convinced me to try their Chicken Alfredo Soup and it was delicious! I also had a Reuben Sandwich that I really liked.
The wait staff was very friendly and helpful and fun. I even got my picture taken with an old old patron before I left. I'm planning on taking my wife back the next time we go through on our way further up into the Thumb.
Went bowling tonight with a few people and enjoyed ourselves. Was well pleased with the service and prices to bowl.. I also liked this wet borito and the Charmont burger and Swiss mushroom burger I got from there. very delicious! yum ????
So this is an honest review. Went there with my lady and 2 friends. The doughballs where good! Me and the lady both got the same sandwich they forgot my bacon on my burger. The food is super grease. Only got 5 waffle fries with my order well everyone else got way more then me. The menu says $3.50 for side salad and was charged $4.00 for it. Both mine and the ladies salad was brown and so we didnt eat half of them. The waitress will walk by 6 times before refilling your drink. After everything was said and done. They charge a 18% gratuity on orders over $100 and then wants you to tip 15% for the horrible service. The bill was only 1 dollar over $100. I can honestly say I will never be back to this place ever again. For the $17 I spent on the gratuity I could have went to the city got better food. Was my first time there and I will never be back. They might be better shutting the doors.
$15 a person for bowling turns any family outing into a large expense. Its $3 a person at Brentwood in Caro, and they have better facilities. It cost $70 for me and my 6 year old to dine and bowl. i think its safe to say i can't afford to bring my wife and other kid. Food is okay, for a small town with nothing else in it.
Pizza is good but the burgers are better! I grew up at the Charmont. Many fond memories. Met my wife there over 30 years ago. So glad it's still around.
Tried calling from 7 p.m to 8 p.m. to place orders for doughballs but no one will answer then they took the phones off the hook.
The service here was so poor. No ask for refills and never once checked up on our table. The salt shakers were absolutely disgusting as the top was rusted and flakes of rust was in the salt along with some yellow crumbs inside with the salt. This place is very unclean and looked like mold on the ceiling tiles with a bunch of water damage. The patty melt meal was burnt and hard, didn’t even look edible and had to return it back to the kitchen along with the mashed potatoes. Find somewhere else to eat this place is nasty. I’ve included a picture of the salt to prove that it’s disgusting.
It took 20 minutes for us to get our water and menus, and another hour for the food. Almost all of the salt shakers had rust on top and inside the shaker, the cups also all had soap stains. Napkins and spoons were not given to us. The fish was very good, not greasy, on the other hand the mashed potatoes and patty melt were horrendous. Frozen premade patty that was extremely thin & burnt, the potatoes had a 1:1 gravy to potato ratio. They say theyre real homemade potatoes, which in sure they are, because they were half mashed. Im usually not this critical of food places but this is the worst dining experience ive had in years especially considering the price of the food. The venue was very nice except for all the mold.
