I was in Goodland on business and found this little restaurant a short drive from the highway. The food is pretty good, like home style cooking. The steak could have been a thicker cut. It reminded me of a pork chop! The salad was great, as was the baked potato. I liked the feel of the old brick building, it had some character to it. I would eat there again.
My husband and I like to go here whenever we're in town. The owners are friendly & the service is very good and efficient - you won't wait around for service like you have to at other places. The food is ALWAYS fantastic no matter what you order, any time of day. They NEVER miss - it is always perfect which is why we keep coming back. I've never had fry sauce as good as theirs: we love eating here and I hope the owners will always be successful!
Stopped at Bricks Cafe on a whim as we were leaving Colorado, and we hit the jackpot. The place was clean, very welcoming, breakfast served all day, and the food was fantastic!
I had a French dip with fries, and others in my group had chicken fingers, and one had the omelette with pancakes. We were all very pleased! ????????
We found this little gem on the way to Denver. Drove around town looking for a spot to eat breakfast. The building has a lot of character with tin ceilings and front windows. Very clean and the staff were delightful. A business to be supported, for sure! Omelets were great!
We were just passing through on our way to the west coast and wanted a sit down local place and the employee at Quality Inn recommended here- glad we stopped! Delicious food! Lunch time we were the only four people so we had the place to ourself. The little boy was friendly with my kids and greeted people when they came in. Great place for families and quick /friendly service! Very little wait time between ordering and eating which is great when you have hungry, impatient kiddos!
We got potato skins as our appetizer, the fish sandwich (cod fillet) with fries and delicious fry sauce, and the brick burger with onion rings. Kids ate up their chicken strips and my daughter got pancakes that came topped with chocolate chips!
Was in an extreme hurry so just had the chef salad… did not disappoint! Pretty good for rabbit food, and a generous portion of ham and a hard boiled egg! Can’t wait to be back here again and sample another dish…

The potato was dry and the meat was thin and not very big and way too salty, the salad was not what we expected it wasn't a head lettuce I don't know what it was. Service and atmosphere was good. They need someone that can cook. Would not recommend.
Nice little cafe with good comfort food, perfect when travelling through Goodland, staying at one of the I-70 hotels and wishing to avoid all of the fast-food options.
And, the coffee was GREAT!
