Quick Facts About The Brass Lantern Restaurant and Lounge

The Brass Lantern Restaurant and Lounge has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation. Firstly, the food is consistently delicious and made with quality ingredients. Customers have praised the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread, fettuccine alfredo with blackened salmon, rib eye steak, and prime rib. The dishes are flavorful, juicy, and well-seasoned, leaving a lasting impression on diners.
In addition to the great food, the service at The Brass Lantern is commendable. Wait staff members are friendly, attentive, and provide excellent customer service. Customers have specifically mentioned Jeremy and Shelly as exceptional servers. The staff goes above and beyond to accommodate requests, such as providing light ice in drinks, which shows their commitment to customer satisfaction.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is also a strength. Customers have described it as calm, relaxing, and clean. The comfortable ambiance contributes to an enjoyable dining experience. In addition, customers have appreciated the holiday decorations and photos of the owners, which add a personal touch to the space.
Another strength of The Brass Lantern is its affordability. Customers have mentioned that the prices are reasonable, considering the portion sizes and quality of the food. Affordable prices make the restaurant accessible to a wide range of customers and contribute to its popularity.
Furthermore, The Brass Lantern has proven itself capable of catering large events. The Moonliters Dance Club specifically mentioned how the restaurant successfully catered their New Year's Eve Gala for 150 guests. This demonstrates the restaurant's ability to handle large-scale events and provide delicious food and friendly service.
However, The Brass Lantern is not without its weaknesses. One customer reported finding a hair in their salad, which although it did not ruin their overall experience, signifies a lapse in hygiene and quality control. This incident should be addressed to prevent future occurrences.
Another weakness mentioned by a customer was the unavailability of some menu items. The restaurant ran out of soup and banana pudding, which can be disappointing for customers who were looking forward to trying those dishes. Ensuring that popular menu items are always in stock is important to maintain customer satisfaction.
There was also a complaint about the vegetable of the day, carrots, being too sweet and too hard to enjoy. This inconsistency in the quality of a side dish can be seen as a weakness and needs to be addressed to ensure all aspects of the meal meet customer expectations.
Lastly, a minor weakness mentioned was the presence of an unruly customer at the bar who was loudly complaining about online truck prices. This disrupted the overall dining experience and was seen as disrespectful by other patrons. Although the management may not have control over the behavior of other customers, addressing this issue promptly can help maintain the restaurant's welcoming and peaceful atmosphere for all guests.
In conclusion, The Brass Lantern Restaurant and Lounge has several strengths that contribute to its positive reputation, such as delicious food, friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, affordable prices, and the ability to cater large events. However, there are a few weaknesses that should be addressed, including issues related to hygiene and quality control, menu item availability, consistency in side dishes, and addressing disruptive customer behavior. Overall, The Brass Lantern is a highly recommended restaurant with great potential for continued success.

I ordered the Chicken Bacon Ranch Flatbread & fries for lunch today & it was delicious! Everything was hot & fresh. Also, I got a free drink with my lunch from the School Savings Smart Card. :)
I was only inside for a few minutes, but the atmosphere was calm & relaxing, areas were clean, & waitress was friendly. She also made sure my drink had light ice as requested. Will definitely recommend this restaurant.
Went on a Wednesday night with my husband. Had a 15 minute wait for a table, so we did a wine tasting next door - very good use of time. Dinner was excellent beginning with the bread. I had the fettuccine alfredo with blackened salmon and my husband started with the tomato basil soup and had the Monterey chicken as the entree. Food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. Prices are very reasonable. Will definitely be going back soon.
The Brass Lantern was a fantastic dinner experience for us (two couples and two young boys).
Our waiter Jeremy was a terrific waiter--attentive, friendly, and our food came out to us far faster than I imagined it would (even with a packed restaurant, ~6:30PM)
The only thing is that one of our party found a hair on her salad....we took it out, pretended like we didn't see it, and enjoyed the rest of our dinner.
Overall, would recommend to anyone. Rib eye steak cooked medium is a great choice
First time there, so first impression..... and it was good. I've never been a fan of prime rib, but had it there and it was wonderful!!!! Tasty, juicy, seasoned perfectly. The sides also were very tasty, with the mashed potatoes...... to die for!!!!. The wait staff were all super....... friendly, helpful and pleasant. Was my first time there, wont because my last, oh, almost forgot, the deserts were fantastic too!!!!
The Moonliters Dance Club had The Brass Lantern Restaurant cater our New Year's Eve Gala this year. Jill, Christina, and their staff did a great job for us. They were easy to work with and provided plenty of great food for our 150 guests.
The escargot and bread were divine. They were out of the soup and banana pudding by our 7:30 reservation. Atmosphere nice! The vegetable of the day, carrots were glazed, VERY sweet but too hard to enjoy. My crab stuffed catfish was cold. My dining partner enjoyed his Bourbon glazed pork chop. The staff was very attentive and friendly.
We showed up 30 minutes prior to closing after a 12 hour drive. We asked if we were too late and the host said “of course not” and seated us immediately. Shelly (I believe was her name) was our server and she was wonderful. Thanks for carding me and being surprised at my age. Made my week after a long and tiring few days traveling! The drinks were great, the food was good and the service from everyone working was exceptional. We loved the holiday decorations as well and seeing photos of the owners. A great restaurant to visit when we are traveling through the area!
We were at this restaurant at the same time as Stellar Construction and sat at the bar. The service was prompt and friendly.. Thank you Holly! The food portions were generous, good and inexpensive. We had the chicken sandwich and prime rib dip. Food was hot and quick to arrive. The only downside was listening to this person complain about the prices people were charging for trucks on line; Even to the point that he left nasty messages for the sellers. Who speaks into their phone without holding it to their ear while dining beside others.. very disrespectful. Please disregard his review.. some people are never happy!
