Best WLM Reviews
I love The Boardroom, but this recent visit was tough. We had left the new brewery across the way because their food wasn't to our taste, and the best place nearby was undoubtedly The Boardroom. We waited to be sat, per the sign, and then waited to get our drink order in, and then waited to order our food. We talked and enjoyed our drinks, but then an hour had passed, and we still didn't have our food. The server kindly came by to apologize and ran off to check on things again. Another twenty or so minutes later, we did finally get our food, and it was meh. Chicken Florentine had too much sauce - like, WAY too much sauce. But my wife devoured her Chicken Nachos.
The first thing I noticed is how nice and professional the entire staff is. It is recommended during busy times to have a reservation but not required most times.
The pretzel is huge. The cheese has a spicy kick and is very good. Salads included spring mix, tomatoes, feta cheese and variety of dressings. The meatloaf and mashed potatoes was very good. The stuffed chops were excellent.
For the reason we went: Creme Brulee: yum! The only Creme Brulee I have found in Ft. Walton.
We also tried the white chocolate key lime pie: it is different and so good.
The food is really, really good! Small place, but big on service and quality. One of the few places I’ve gone to lately that I’ve felt like The food quality and quantity was justified. Did not leave hungry!
Went for our anniversary and give it a 10/10!!! Had prime rib and it was amazing!!
Service 10/10. Wish I remembered his name but he did a great job.
Wish I took pictures before diving in.
If you haven’t been, run don’t walk and enjoy yourself!!!
Decent craft beer selection. Ordered the nachos as an appetizer, but they not good so passed on the other food.
Went in on a Friday night, was seated quickly. My waitress Giuliana was great. Very friendly and attentive. Immediately noticed they have a well rounded beer selection and some delicious craft cocktails. My table decided to go with seared tuna and the Jovian dip to start. Both were very good and I would order again. My friend had the blackened catch of the day which was pompano. It was seasoned and cooked to perfection and had a great flavor. The only drawback was that it was not deboned. We still ate every bite! I had the stuffed pork chops, bussle sprouts and a house salad with house made blue cheese. Lemme tell you that it was absolutely amazing! Like, wow! The sauce was so rich and savory, loaded with portobellos, it complimented the 2 chops layered with goat cheese perfectly ???????? it was so so good! The Brussels are cooked with apple and bacon, they were also very yummy. House made blue cheese dressing was also good and the side salad was a good size. I highly recommend checking this place out.
The bartender that was here when I arrived, Chet, didn’t care at all about his job which was clear. This was my favorite place to eat for at least the last 7 years, and I’ll never come back again. Luckily Marissa came in to relieve him and caught that he didn’t ring our entire order in (mind you there was only 1 other table with 2 ppl). Then when we finally get our food there are no capers on the salmon which is literally what makes the plate. I’ve never been so disappointed. I literally used to come here every week. I recommended boardroom to literally everyone, but now I never will again. How sad.
Cool place! Amazing food. Meatloaf patty melt! Get it!
