Best WLM Reviews
Service and food here has been very consistent every time we went. There isnt a lot of other options in the area so it is great that the blue elephant is a solid option. We got their brunch buffet several times, but usually go for dinner and get their sushi platter for 2. Their espresso martinis are also very good.
The atmosphere in this place is amazing!
The service was unmatched. Someone dropped a utensil in the front of the restaurant and the manager went right away to grab it from the customer and replace it. They were courteous and knowledgeable.
The rock shrimp and wings were so good and the portion sizes are huge. The Blue Elephant roll and drink were also very good.
The negative part of our experience was actually the entrees. We got the short rib and the new flat iron steak. The Short rib was dry and the Flat Iron steak was a very chewy and just an all around bad cut if meet. Combined they made up half of our bill, so that was very disappointing, in my opinion they should rethink those two choices.
**Update to say I’m so impressed with their Non Alcoholic menu and Mocktails ????**
Overall, great experience. Would have liked to be seated main level for the ambience, but I was seated on the second level. The upstairs area has a different feel, beautifully lined with chandeliers and mirrors. Very chic. Food was delicious! The cocktails were on the pricier side but they were beautifully made and picturesque.
I love to come here. Amazing food and great portion sizes. Definitely better than the one that opened in Wayne the portion sizes are smaller there. I’d go to the one in pottstown over the one in Wayne any day of the week. Beautiful establishment and atmosphere. The waiters and management are also very nice and welcoming.
This place is absolutely breathtaking! It is so classy and beautifully decorated. I was blown away by how gorgeous this place was. The staff were attentive and super helpful which was appreciated. The drinks were so refreshing and well done. I had ordered the wings which were a Korean sticky fried wing; it was very flavorful and crisp and the sauce was sticky, sweet with a hint of spice and acid to balance it out. The sauce was wonderful but I wish there was more of it as I found the wing to be a little on the dryer side. I had also ordered a side of fried rice which I thought for an establishment of this caliber would have a more flavorful dish but quite honestly I’ve had local Chinese takeout that was more flavorful than this. My sisters had the pad Thai which I thought was good, not great. The sauce needed to be more flavorful, I couldn’t taste anything. But the noodles were cooked well and the protein was cooked to perfection. Overall, I would highly recommend coming for the ambiance and the beautiful decor. It is definitely not authentic Asian cuisine but it’s interesting to see unique adaptations to beloved dishes with some hitting the mark more than others.
I don’t even know where to start with this review as I could say a million and one amazing things about The Blue Elephant. We got married here 10/21/2023 and they made our big day a one to remember. Mizzy, the event coordinator helped us every step of the way with menu choices and table setting and guest list and ceremony space; she was absolutely professional and diligent in her work! We had a couple no-shows and last minute bar use that she quickly helped with and made sure things ran smoothly and I was calm and having fun. The Blue Elephant is more than just a restaurant. The atmosphere is truly breathtaking between the fountain and the bank vault door and the aesthetically pleasing blue and gold, it made the perfect spot for our intimate wedding. The food…. Oh my the food was a hit at our wedding! Cheers to chef for providing top notch delicious courses. We had duck breast pappardelle, chicken drunken noodles, or sea bass for the guests. Let’s just say all of our guests were raving about the food! The day went by so fast and I am incredibly happy with every little detail of our wedding. We couldn’t have done it without the amazing staff at The Blue Elephant. Thank you so much for everything you have done.
With so much love,
Ryan and Tassy
Received a gift card to The Blue Elephant and decided to use it for dinner for date night. Wifey made reservations for 6pm Saturday. We arrived around 5:15 for drinks at the bar. Parking was not clear, so we called the restaurant to ask where we could park after driving around the building one time. Drinks were very good, but the usual outrageous alcohol markup. My Old Fashioned was smooth. Wife went with a house drink called a Roundabout recommended by the bartender. She loved it. The old bank makes for a cool space for the bar and tables. Dinner was excellent. Athena gave us great service, and Faith kept our water filled. Dessert satisfied our sweet tooth. Glad we got the gift card to make us try this place!
Very disappointing. Stopped here for dinner on a Sunday night around 6, initially was a very nice atmosphere. We ordered 2 starters which were great, and then we received our duck entree which was completely cold when it got to our table. They made us a new plate, which we appreciated, but we waited an additional 25 minutes for our entree.
The restaurant was not too busy but shortly after we sat, they sat a party of four next to us. The people informed the waitress they would have an additional person and nothing was done to get them a table large enough for them. The entire rest of our meal and dessert we had their fifth person sitting within 2 inches of myself and bumping into me and our table multiple times.
Additionally we asked for the check 4 different times over the course of 35 minutes. After feeling uncomfortable because of our table neighbor, we still had to wait a long time to receive the check so we could leave.
The food was good. The service was not. The atmosphere was absolutely not.
