My waitress was very nice and service was really quick. All I ordered was the mozzarella sticks cause I kept seeing through these reviews that they were good, and I also got a drink. Got the White Chewy Bear and it was delicious but the mozzarella sticks weren't really too good for my taste. The breading has a strange sweet flavor (but that could have been from my drink) and the more you ate of it, it just like squished apart cause it's so large. And the marinara sauce was too thick for me I'm not big on tomato chunks. Not really worth a $24 bill. I'd come back for drinks but not for food.
We were honestly a little skeptical of coming here with it having a lower review but it was honestly really good. Our server was really good and super fast bringing out or food and the food was definitely a 10/10. My husband got wings and I got chicken fingers and it was so good! The only complaint I have is that the music they were playing was pretty loud. Also, as we were leaving I saw our server in the back room talking to another server complaining about a tip that someone had left her. When we went, there was only us and one other couple in there. We tipped her 20% so she could have been talking about the other couple but I still thought it was very unprofessional for her to do that in the open like that. Overall though, we had a pretty good experience.
While we were skeptical about going here due to the lower reviews, we decided to give it a chance. We live in Ellijay and had a friend and his girlfriend in from out of town and since a lot of places close early, this was a good option for us. We walked in and were seated right away which was surprising considering how busy it was. There was a band (Topper) playing which we knew about after going to the FB page. They were a good cover band. We ordered some drinks which were decent...small and not real heavy on alcohol but still ok. ($8 each). My wife and I split an 18 piece wing plate and our friends got sliders and a Philly (I think that's what she had). Our wings were great...meaty and flavorful. I asked our friends about their food and both said "very good". The waitress we had was good. Not over attentive but not under either....again it was very busy and she still did a good job. It was a mix of a younger and older crowd and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It was loud yes, but that was expected with a live band playing. There's a patio if you don't care to be near the loud music. I honestly don't understand the negative reviews as the food, service and environment were all great. My wife and I would go back and would bring friends (local or from out of town) with us.
on our trip from florida, we stopped in to meet up with some friends. it’s a cool spot, awesome murals on the walls, and great food and drink selection. we got the fried jalapeños and mozzarella sticks. the fried jalapeños were sliced and small, but a great portion and absolutely delicious. the mozzarella sticks were LOGS and intimidating but delicious as well! i got a sour on tap and i don’t remember the name of it, but it was good. the bartender jermaine was super friendly and informative with any questions we had about drinks or the menu. parking was easy late night on a weekday. seems like this is the only bar in the downtown strip that’s open late, so i definitely recommend popping in for some food and drinks if you’re in the area.
Service was very slow and had a rude bartender. The bartender didn’t have any clean glasses and needed to reuse previous glasses while she only had 3 folks sitting at her bar that appeared to be all friends or non-working coworkers since the grill was working with a skeleton crew: (1) hostess, (1) server, and a bartender.
If you are pressured for time this is not the place to dine nor worth the service.
Although, if you want to gamble with your time and the service their famous homemade mozzarella sticks are truly THE BEST!!!
Good food in a dive bar atmosphere. We really enjoyed lunch and the people there were super friendly. The burgers are great, but the sleeper on the menu is the awesome club sandwich! Now to go back on a Friday night and check out the night time vibe!
Overpriced..food was eh..nothing over the top. Ordered wings with Bleu Cheese dressing and celery. Bleu Cheese was watery, celery was thick and ends had to be cut off before eating. Ordered white Russian drink that was apparently made with milk instead of cream which made it less than desirable. Not even sure coffee liquor was used. Price of 2 drinks was close to $30, not what I would have expected in a local pub. Would not go back.
Went in New Years Day, staff had not shown up and one person was working. He explained that the service would be slow but we were not in a hurry. We got a couple of beer, placed our order, and he made it happen. Not only was I impressed by his ability to handle the place alone but his service was impeccable. Fun atmosphere, the food was cooked as requested and they have a huge selection of draft beer.
