One of my best kept little secrets, The Blow Dry Bar is a gem! The owners and the staff are warm and welcoming, they make you feel right at home and the salon is always impeccably clean. My hairdresser is Myriam, and I'm so glad that I found her. She's a great listener, a great stylist, AND a color expert! She’s the utmost professional and always makes sure I am completely satisfied with the services I receive. Trust me when I say I hadn't had this level of service in quite some time and I'm so glad I found the salon and Myriam!!! ????????
I usually go to a different blowdry salon weekly but wasn't able to book on time and was desperately searching for another salon to take care of me and on a Saturday at that ????. This was the last salon I called and Cirelys was able to squeeze me in! She did a FANTASTIC job. Honestly, the best blow out I've had in a year. It was perfectly polished, she followed my requests to the T and perfectly styled my curtain bangs and curls. Even being her last appointment she still worked at a steady pace and did an excellent job. If I could rate her 10 stars I would!
We had to get our hair done for a wedding and The Blow Dry Bar took very good care of us. We had a great experience! Plus, the staff were so welcoming, friendly and professional. Highly recommend!!
The Blowdry bar was a great place to get my hair done, and I was always very happy with the lady who would do my hair. However, I bought a package last year that was paying up front for five blow dry services. I was assured by the girl who was at the desk, which I assumed was the manager, and by the lady who blow dried my hair that it would not expire. Life got in the way, and I traveled a lot the end of the year for work and vacation so I didn’t go for a while. When I went back in the beginning of the year I inquired about my remaining blowdry, and the lady blow drying my hair told me it had expired. I mentioned I had been told otherwise, but she said that they expire in 90 days. I blame myself for not getting it in writing, but fair warning to you ladies who want to buy that package. It does EXPIRE and they tell you otherwise! Don’t pay for anything unless you get it in writing. It’s a shame because she would always do a great job and I referred several of my friends, but I also believe in good customer service and getting what we pay for.
Writing this review with some compassion because I totally understand things happen out of our control sometimes, and the stylists were very sweet. However, I think it’s a good moment for a lesson to the staff/owner.
I drove in from Orlando today for a wedding and arrived at my appointment on time. The stylists (and the current customer) apologized and let me know they were running behind because the customer had arrived late. I even said I would be happy to go with another stylist but apparently, the other stylist was also busy. Since I drove in straight to my appointment, my husband and 5 month old baby were in the car. As you can imagine, it was not feasible to leave my baby in the car for an extra half hour — at least — to wait for the stylist to be done. So, I had to leave without getting my blow out. I am very disappointed. In the beauty industry, it is common practice to adjust a clients service if they arrive late… not penalize the next appointment. I appreciate how nice they were about it, but doesn’t change the fact that I was unable to get my hair done… despite making my appointment weeks ago.
I had an excellent experience my first time here. I booked a blowout + pins for my birthday. Looked even better than I expected. Very reasonable prices and friendly staff. Will definitely be back again!
