Best WLM Reviews
We sat outside and ate so I have no idea about the inside atmosphere. I ordered a burger with bacon, it was delicious although some of the bacon was unusually tough. Waitress was friendly and was very attentive
Soooooooo good. The courtyard is lovely, staff was super friendly, and y'all that did was excellent. Some of the best we've had in Maine! I do not say this lightly, but the Korean BBQ tacos are probably the best I've ever had. Absolutely scrumptious. Richard never tries new things; the man eats like a toddler. He was intrigued enough to try the PB&J Bacon Burger, and he loved it!
THIS is how you do fusion cuisine. We will absolutely be back.
Update after second visit:
Still delicious. The bar is crazy well-stocked, and the staff knowledgeable about everything available. I tried the Shipyard pumpkinhead and gahhh it was delicious. My husband tried the plain burger this time, we both shared the poutine, and I again got the spectacular pork belly tacos. I cannot recommend them, and this place in general, enough.
My husband and I are so grateful to The Bling Pig. Due to unforeseen circumstances our original plan for an engagement party at their event space turned into a wedding reception. They were not only accommodating but went above and beyond for us over and over again! We had AMAZING signature drinks, a beautiful, well decorated space, and the food was so good! All of our guests commented on how warm and cozy the space was and the bar was full the entire night! We cannot recommend this place enough for not only lunch/dinner/drinks but for any event you may have. They truly make you feel like part of the family. Thank you so much for making this day stress free and so memorable for us.
The style here is unmatched! Even the dishes are cute. I love the color scheme, lighting, and usage of the original architecture and bricks. This is a VERY cool space!
Madelin is an excellent bar tender; even when they were swamped on a trivia night, she was keeping up making all the very fancy drinks while still being sociable and attentive!
The drinks and food are a bit pricey, but always good! I highly recommend the shrimp tacos just because of whatever delicious sauce was in them.
The outdoor patio caught our eye...looked like a nice place to have lunch. We were right! Service was excellent and it was hard to decide what to have, so many things sounded good. Ended up sharing the pork mac & cheese and the kickin chicken sandwich. Both were delicious but the chicken sandwich was the bomb! Nice selection of drinks and beers. Generous portions and fair prices. Had to take most of thr mac and cheese home.
Will be back!
I can not say enough good things about chef Danielle and our waitresses Mikaela and Jacenta! The drinks are amazing craft cocktails and the food ???? omg the food! Definitely five star restaurant quality with such beautiful presentation and flavor! Chef Danielle had me eating things I normally never would and let my tell you every bite was amazing! My family has decided this is our new family day spot! They have live music on Sunday's and then all the classic 90s music. The atmosphere feels like family.
Love this place. So glad they did an expansion, they really needed it. The night we went service was very slow, but that typically never happens. The other times we have been service has been great. The food is amazing and always unique drinks. Highly recommended if you are in the Gardiner area.
***Update 6-11-2022***
Went back for dinner tonight. This place does not disappoint. They posted a special drink on Facebook for last night, I asked for it tonight, and even though it was not on their menu, they were able to make it. The Ribeye steak tonight was very good, great flavor and well cooked ( to our liking). The ribs are almost as consistent as a chain, but way better. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Came back for brunch. We obviously frequent this place. The drinks are always outstanding. The food today for brunch was fantastic. My wife had the breakfast enchilada, and loved it. I had riblets, and 2 eggs on the side. Outstanding riblets. It was truly a half rack of their dinner ribs. We can't get enough of the Blind Pig.
***Update 2/14/23***
Obviously we go here quite often. This time was for Valentine's day and they had prepared a special menu. The appetizer was good, really good, but maybe for a single serving a little too big. I had the tuna tartare and it was excellent. My wife had the brie, this was very good as well, but there was a lot there. Salad was next, my wife had the roasted pear salad and she really liked it, I had the grilled Caesar. I did not taste the grilled flavor and some of the lettuce had a bitter wilted flavor to it. The entree was perfect. The size was appropriate for a 4 course meal and cooked to perfection. My wife had the Filet and it was a perfect med-rare. Needed a little bit of seasoning, but had great flavor otherwise. I had the chicken cordon blue. It was outstanding. It wasn't too heavy on the fry, and the cheese was nicely stuffed in the chicken. I'm not a big desert person, but it was part of the meal, so I had the red velvet cake which was fantastic and my wife had the chocolate mousse, which she really liked. The mousse could have used a little crumble of some sort to give it a crunch. Overall they did very well with their special menu. As always we will be going back.
This was my first time here. It was so refreshing to see and be able to enjoy the atmosphere. Had the chicken tacos, and guacamole and chips. I found wonderful exploiting flavor I never had one on a taco before . Surprisingly excellent quality and plenty to eat. The servers are real nice, sweet, never let me want for anything. I will definitely be revisit the place.
