Best WLM Reviews

We like to hit the local food establishments rather than the chain restaurants. We decided to stop here to see what they were all about. The place was empty except for two midday drinkers at the bar and the staff. It went downhill from here.
We grabbed a seat in the dining area. Bugs were on all the tables by the windows (pic#2) The front staff person greeted us and asked what we wanted to drink. We simply wanted a nice lunch and water. When it arrived one of our water glasses was either dirty or stained (pic#4) We asked about menus, she pointed to the board that we couldn't read (pic #3) We got up, walked over decided, and we returned to our seat. After waiting for five minutes (we saw the staff person drinking a cocktail with the patrons) and no return service I walked to the bar and order three breaded tenderloins with two fries and one O-ring. $33 and change. When we received the food (no napkins or silverware.) She had to make another trip for those alone with condiments (mustard lid on the ketchup and crusty) and then we were left to eat in peace. No check in, no pre-bus, we were ignored. The sandwich (pic#1) was tasteless. The tomato was the size of a grape. The bread was stale. The mayo was tasteless. Even the fries and tenderloin were fried frozen pieces of cardboard. Even the O-rings were tasteless (old food evidently.) The sliced onion on the sandwiches were the only item that had flavor or zing. I know the Brady Street Bridge replacement has probably affected their business, but it is complete now. Other things of concern. One of the bar patrons as he was leaving appeared to be quite inebriated as his balance was compromised and his walk was a shuffle (Hopefully he was mostly sober and has a hip condition.) The bartender let him go without a thought with his keys in hand to get into his truck. The atmosphere was gloomy. Music played over the sound system at a low volume. There wasn't any dive bar charm here. We were not expecting a 5-star experience. This is a bar and grill. We would have gladly accepted 3-star. The one thing that comes to mind to sum up this experience: Call Jon Taffner!!!!! This place needs rescued.
The bike rack is your typical bar with your typical crowd at that time of day the service was terrific the atmosphere was great I can't really say anything bad about them except they need to clean their floors a little better but I enjoyed myself there and the group I was with had a good time also.
Laura is a great bartender. We had a blast. The pizza could have been better but the atmosphere was awesome.
Had a pizza with ham and veggies. Great taste, perfect amount of sauce and toppings with a nice crispy crust. My waiter Shawn was friendly, attentive and provided superior service. He's someone I would want for my next visit. I plan to return next time earlier for the wonderful Thursday prime rib dinner.
The appetizers were great. My husband ordered the Philly which is not on the menu but was a special. He is still talking about it hours later. The drinks were delicious and the bartender was fun. We went early Friday afternoon so it wasn’t to busy but patrons there were fun and friendly! Will definitely be back!
This is it, right here. Karaoke every Saturday night, outstanding service and food! Pool! Dartz! Friends! Family! Seriously need a place to vibe? The bike rack. 9 tvs, oh yes! it's a sports bar, but much more.
Sat and listened to the bartender continually admonish and make rude comments about the cook, while calling himself "the talent", lol.
And then...sat and watched my food (in which the cook had ready in no time) sit up at the kitchen window for five minutes while the bartender was busy not even getting my drink and chatting with other patrons.
Very talented indeed. I just walked up and left.
I haven't had food here so can't leave a review on that, but this is a great place for a late night drink. The staff is always wonderful and I love that they have outdoor seating.
