Hip, Chic, and Delicious. Amazing crepes and coffee. I recommend the pistachio cream and strawberry crepe if you're looking for something sweet and satisfying. The black forest ham and cheese was very savory as well.
Second time coming here, first time was shortly after they opened. Seems they have gotten things really figured out. Improved portions for the price. Great atmosphere. I would like more single seats, buy that's personally. Great job guys!
Feels fancy, and the barista was very kind and helpful! We LOVED the crepes and croissants (best since we visited Paris several years ago).
I have fallen in love with the food, drinks, and overall experience given at the Bernklau. My husband and I both absolutely love the crepes- for him the pistachio and strawberry, and for me the lemon cream cheese and strawberry is divine. For how busy they are, they are very quick and efficient at getting your food and drinks to you. I’ve brought family and friends here since it’s opened, and everyone has had nothing but glowing reviews! Thank you to Bernklau for bringing something special and unique to our little town:)

I ordered a crêpe with egg and cheese and ham, and it only came with the cheese and ham.
Taste was ok. A bit bland.

Whether you are stopping in for a coffee to go or staying for lunch, everything at Bernklau is absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is inviting and the staff is very friendly. One of the best little cafes in Sandpoint.
Good tasting food and drinks. Must order at counter then, food is delivered to your table. Very clean and everything is new and modern, including the restrooms. Has a ramp for accessibility. And, dogs are allowed in the outdoor seating area. So, I took my tiny dog in her stroller right up the ramp.
Staff is very nice, but seem a little inexperienced.
Bernklau is always my first choice in Sandpoint for coffee. They have the best coffee ☕ by far. They also have pastries,cheese cake,crepes as well as wine and German beer ????. My favorite items on the menu are the #2 crepe, the caprese sandwich and the carrot cake.
They are now open on Tuesday's, it's one more day I get to enjoy their cafe.
