Treasure find. Are you kidding me? What a wonderful find while in town for work. The beautiful restaurant lives up to its name with wonderful staff and delicious eats. The highlight of the meal, of course, was the baked banana pudding. I first that I have experienced outside of a family home, and its that family feeling that this place provides is the reason its earned my coveted "Certified Mad Good" rating. A must try for those in the area
I really enjoy the food here. My go to item is the BBQ beef ribs. The sides I like the most are the dressing and cabbage. The turkey wings and catfish are good as well. The service is always friendly which I really appreciate and it is the reason I keep coming back. The weekend breakfast is also good and they have lot of options. When I tried the breakfast I got the chicken sausage and pancakes. I recommend you to try this restaurant out. It is so delicious.

I have to start with the service. We went as soon as they opened. When the guy opened the door everyone at the door was greeted with a "Good morning, welcome to beautiful" and a smile. As we walked in toward the line, the ladies behind the counter echoed him with the same greeting and big smiles. It was so refreshing given how horrible the customer service appeared to be at other Atlanta restaurants we visited. We took our order and had a seat. Then the sweetest older lady came around to myself and other guests asking if we needed any condiments or anything else. She was so sweet! Everyone was!
Ok the food...I thought it was good! Do I think it was the best in the world...no. But it was good and it was seasoned. I would eat there again. The cabbage and catfish were my favorite food. But...you have to try that peach cobbler. My God! It's perfect! I love crust in my peach cobbler so this was heaven!!! The banana pudding was also delicious! Desserts 10/10. I will say I went back a couple times for peach cobbler and I prefer it later I'm the day. When we got it when they opened it was too hot and the juices hadn't settled. Still delicious, but I loved the room temperatures ones better after everything was absorbed into the crust.
Overall, this place exudes southern charm. Best customer service I experienced on my trip! Please give them a try!
I used to frequent "the Beautiful" when I was a student. At that time it was open 24 hours.
I don't know if it is still Awesome, but back in the day it was straight Sunday dinner. Much Love!
I drive by all the time but today was my first visit. A friend and I ordered Fried Chicken, ribs, oxtail, cornbread, spinach, rutabagas and Mac and cheese. All amazing. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Rates were reasonable and the portions were generous. Everything was perfectly cooked and well seasoned but not salty at all. It felt like family.
I've only visited this restaurant twice. Almost two decades apart for each visit. The first time I was vegetarian. The 2nd I was vegan. My options were few. My family enjoyed the food. The vegetables were just ok.
The customer service is so great..I went in yesterday the men behind the counter were very very patient with the customers. It was packed ! But the place is definitely worth the wait. Worth the penny. My father loves this place I’m always happy I can get him a plate when I’m in town.
