Best WLM Reviews
We came to The Bearded Pig for lunch on a Wednesday before noon and there was already a lineup outside the door. It was busy inside but we got a table right after we ordered.
We made our own “platter” of 1/2 pound of Brisket, Pulled Pork and Sausages, 1/2 rack of Spare Ribs, with Sweet Potato Waffle Fries and Slaw.
Overall, the meats were very tasty and tender, perhaps the ribs needed just a pinch more salt but, the sauces rounded all up. The sweet potato fries were probably the best that we have ever had, super crispy outside yet soft inside. The slaw was quite nice and refreshing.
We tried the different sauces and they were all flavorful and paired well with the different meats. The XXX wasn’t as hot as it sounded which was actually better for us.
We had a couple of drinks and we enjoyed them very much.
The staff were very friendly, and the service was actually fast for the crowd.
I had an incredible experience at this restaurant in Jax! The ribs were absolutely amazing, with a deliciously smoky flavor that was out of this world. The sauces were also a highlight, especially the mustard sauce, which added the perfect tangy kick to the dish. If you're in the area, you absolutely must give this place a try. Trust me, you won't be disappointed!
Amazing!!! Amazing food, amazing service, amazing atmosphere. The best burnt ends I’ve ever had. The service was great, staff were very attentive and friendly. Atmosphere was chill & child friendly. Also got the jalapeño poppers, they were so freaking good! 5 stars all around.
This place is so awesome. We came here around 4 for a random afternoon dinner. The food was delicious and I highly recommend getting their pimento cheese on any sandwich. Hands down best I’ve ever had! The food was so good!!!
Love the service and atmosphere. Drinks are cheap and strong. I like the Pig Punch and Mule.
Burnt ends are good, a little salty.
Wings are a no for me and my partner- lacking flavor even with the 5 sauces provided and A1 ranch. They’re big and juicy so that might be your thing but not mine.
Brisket is flavorful. I prefer the lean option.
Baked potato is a no for me. Kind of hard, not fluffy. Cheese sauce is a thumbs down, no flavor. Would be better with a sharp cheddar or pepperjack.
My fave sauces are the sweet spot and XXX mixed together.
Stopped here based off reviews on our way to Ponte Vedra to attend The Players tournament.
Busy but we were able to find a spot at the bar within minutes and took a seat.
A ton of great drink options and the staff was super friendly. Several TV's mounted with sports on for viewing.
The food itself was awesome! Ordered the wings and brisket - no regrets! Tons of flavor and would highly recommend!
always consistent and always delicious. never been a huge fan of bbq but bearded pig knows how to do it. brisket is always amazing, burnt ends are super flavorful and tender (if you get there early enough), and staff is super friendly.
Sauce should be an option, not a requirement. I ordered a 1/2 lb of brisket(marbled) and one rib. I also ordered the slaw and brussel sprouts. I gave two stars based off of the Brussels, otherwise I would have given one. The Brussels only gave a salty flavor and were crispy which was a bonus. Adding a sweet/vinegar flavor to pair with the salty would give it the boost it needs. The meat lacked flavor! It was also very dry. I was not impressed. The slaw was also different from your traditional mayo based slaw. The environment and space was beautiful! The food needs to catch up. I’m surprised that the reviews are as high as they are. Of course this review is opinionated but holds truth!
