Best WLM Reviews
Went here for the first time with my wife. The food, the cocktails, and service we're all excellent. I highly recommend sitting on the patio for a refreshing ambience. Tables are not too close together, so you never have to sorry about the person at the next table banging into you when they get up. Definitely will come back here.
Nice date restaurant, with delightful service and decent menu. Wasn't blown away by execution, the zucchini starter with green aioli was probably most stand out dish, although chocolate lava cake dessert was tasty. Should maybe have followed the waitress suggestions more (pork chop, pasta etc.) but would likely go back to try other things. Did love that the meat and fish are responsibly sourced too.
The food was decent but the service was lacking, and for the price, both should be excellent. Our waiter spent lots of time chatting with the next table, while we had to ask three times to see the wine list for a second glass. By the time he came back to ask what we wanted, we had finished our dinner. We had a spicy duck appetizer that was tough, but the flavors were good, and it was served on an excellent bed of greens. The Taste of Spain appetizer was solid, but uninspiring. The blue cheese salad had an odd mix of vinaigrette, creme fraiche, and blue cheese that clashed. The Argentine BBQ steak was decent, the fries were excellent, but the house ketchup was way too sweet. When we asked for some mayonnaise for the fries, we were told there wasn't any in the restaurant. My wife asked, "Do you have any aioli?" "Yes, but it has garlic in it." (I would hope so!) "We'll have that." The molten chocolate cake for dessert was good, but we were pretty exasperated by that point.
Great service! Great cocktails('42 ' Margarita and Spicy 'Summer' Margarita) Affordable prices that won't break the bank. Delicious halibut and pizza with Mexican Style bacon.
We will definitely be back!!
4.5 stars Great place, went there for dinner. The is a hallway between two parts of. the building and you are seated there. There is a "roof" over you so you don't have to worry about rain, etc. Overall the covid safety was good.
For drinks had the Margarita - was very average (hence the 1/2 deduction), maybe should tried the 1942 version. But since I was driving, didn't want to have a second one. My fellow diners wine and champagne were good.
Appetizers - we got the winter citrus & burrata and jicama tortilla shrimp taco - both were excellent. For entrees I got the fried chicken chicken - a huge sandwich with an excellent slaw, and to boot I got the truffle fries. Make sure you are hungry :). We also got the pappardelle bolognese and an off-menu dish pappardelle with shrimp. All of us enjoyed the good, very well done - plates were literally wiped clean.
Service was very good, very attentive but not intrusive. They were also accommodating to create an off-menu item. Will definitely go back. Highly recommended.
This used to be our go-to place for anniversaries and birthday dinners when we first moved to the area. It’s been about 8 years since we’ve been there, and the place has changed for the better. Less formal and a more diverse menu with a wider range of prices. We just had appetizers, which were enormous and good. Really enjoyed sitting out on the patio, with the giant tree in the center. Excellent service too. Great place - I’d go back again if I lived nearby.
Super friendly service, server was quite knowledgeable of menu items and drinks.
The trout was seared perfectly, martini was mixed perfectly. Duck was super flavorful and not gamey.
Staff was super accommodating , and the setting was perfect. Highly recommended!
One of the best chocolate shops I've ever been too. Everything is hand painted, staff is very friendly. Only down side.... all the chocolates are $5 a piece.
