Das gemütliche Café "THE BARN Coffee Roasters Berlin" am Checkpoint Charlie in der Friedrichstraße 215 (auf der Kreuzberger Seite der Friedrichstraße) überzeugt mit einem tollen Kaffee und vielen kleinen leckeren Sachen zum Snacken. Besonders der Service ist sehr aufmerksam! Für eine kurze oder längere Pause sehr zu empfehlen.

What a gorgeous coffee shop! I absolutely love the industrial fit-out. I enjoyed a wonderfully extracted black honey-processed Brazilian coffee on V60 and a croissant. The staff were very polite and efficient.
This coffee shop offers what you expect of a place that understands coffee, you can buy coffee beans and even some equipment to get you started on brewing at home.
The staff was really nice and from what I read in other reviews it’s their main asset.
The space itself is blend, nothing calls too much attention but it is quiet enough to stay and work on your computer.
Finally, for the price you get a much better experience than Starbucks, at least you feel like drinking real coffee. But it doesn’t have that cozy and inventing atmosphere of a neighborhood coffee shop.
Probably the best coffee place in this area. Their coffees are very good but not excellent. For example, in the cappuccino and flat white the coffee flavour is lost more than what is expected from the addition of milk. I also tried the peanut butter and jelly cookie, it was very good too. Coffees and desserts are seriously overpriced (e.g. the cookie was 3,5 EUR). On top of that they ask for a tip in advance (not obligatory of course but kinda forced, especially when the barista is above your head when you pay). There is space to work with your laptop, which can be a plus. The staff is friendly.
Cool new place in Friedrichstraße! You can get your laptop and work or study here. Very calm environment. Also the coffee tastes so good. Recommended!
The hand drip finished in less than 2 minutes, but unfortunately, it tasted terrible—no aroma from the beans and lacking the rich flavor coffee should have. A few days ago, I went to another branch, and their cappuccino had a rich and creamy foam with plenty of bean aroma—it was really great and delicious. Today, the cappuccino I got here was bitter and lacked aroma. You really need to step up their game, don't you think?
