Best WLM Reviews
We had such high Hope's for this place. It never really took off as a great place to dine. The ownership truly has no idea of what and how to run a restaurant. We would love to make this a place a must go to place to dine but it hasn't happened in over 10 years. The golf course is great, a little pricey but the restaurant needs work. This could be a real gold mine.
The happy hour is pretty awesome but the food is just OK. To be fair I've only been here for Taco Tuesday but that was enough. I the tacos were the most unauthentic tacos I've ever had. Also not a San of Malibu Wines. I have a few wine memberships and I thought MW would be a cool and convenient addition. Unfortunately they won't let you do a pickup and require you to pay for shipping. I know it sounds like a lot of complaints for a 4 star review but I can't emphasise the quality of the bar and happy hour
Great atmosphere! Pleasant staff members. Moderate food.
The only thing - (we have been here four times, since we live only 5 min away) - is that the service is on SLOWER SIDE. I didn't think it was waiters' issue, but how the vibe was.
Great bar selections - so if you'd like to just hang out, this is a perfect place in Tujunga!
What I Ordered
- Black Miso Salmon
Great service and delicious food! I didn't expect much from the restaurant since we went here out of convenience since it was next to Malibu Family Wines. The menu selection was so small, it was really hard to settle on a dish. Go safe with a sandwich or be risky and get the salmon? I was very surprised on how well the salmon came out. Perfectly cooked and seasoned! Never judge a book by it's cover.. or in this case, a restaurant by it's menu. :)
The best Sunday brunch I've had in a really long time. A surprisingly wide array of choices, from all of the normal breakfast favorites including a fabulous cutting station, to sushi and fresh seafood, to a beautiful cheese board, and several other selections. Everything I tried felt like you had just ordered it to be made fresh for you instead of sitting in a buffet chafer. The eggs Benedict was particularly tasty. The egg was perfectly poached and runny, while a great hollandaise was served on the side. It's $35 and includes AYCD mimosas, so very reasonably priced. Our server didn't skimp on the mimosas, either, like a lot of places do. Great views of the golf course, which is nestled at the base of the Angeles Forest foothills. I was thoroughly impressed. Will definitely return!
We love this place for taco Tuesdays. The family meal is a major deal. It's enough food to feed five or six people and comes with chimichangas, tacos, rice and beans, and guacamole. I'm a big fan of their drinks. The have a full bar and will make whatever cocktail you prefer. They don't skimp on the alcohol in thier drinks so be careful of you're diving.
Nice restaurant overlooking the Angeles Golf Course. Menu is limited but ample. Wait staff is very good. Good place to meet friends...we enjoyed the patio dining.
Sitting on the outdoor terrace provides the most beautiful view of any local restaurant I've experienced in this area. The food is generally tasty and service has been exceptionally accommodating.
