Walking in the place isn’t to big but cozy. Clean, friendly, cheap & good. Started off with sweet corn nuggets, yum. Wasn’t sure if it was ranch, kinda seemed like French onion dip. Then we ordered a western cheeseburger & pizza burger. They came with choice of crinkle fries or tots. Pepsi products for drinks plus iced Tea, sweet or unsweetened. Everything was very good & filling. Glad we got there around 11. They sure got busy quickly. A couple outdoor tables are available too.
Love this place, a true gem of Streator IL! My wife and I have never had a bad meal here! I highly recommend the Adult Chicken Tenders. My wife loves the Tenderloin! Keep up the great work! The burgers are epic also!
The food was delicious and the service was friendly and fun. The adult chicken strips were huge, fried perfectly and drained well. The wife had chicken and waffles and said it was delicious as well. My son had chicken fries which were boneless wings seasoned with your choice of sauce over a large portion of their crispy crinkle fries. Our daughter in law had a wrap and said it is her go to from there. The atmosphere was simple Cafe style tables. A lot of carry out as the dining area is limited. This was my first time at The 318, but won't be my last.
Did not care for coleslaw. Tenderloin was okay but too large for the bun it was presented on. Did not care for being charged for onion and tomatoes on my sandwich after not being made aware of extra charge by my server and no mention of this on the menus. Paid about $12 for tenderloin, fries and coleslaw. Did not expect extra charge for onion and tomato.
Owner took issue with a former customer that posted they thought restaurant was not clean. Owner said place was spotless. That is untrue. The ceiling vent in the dining room was coated with a coat of filth that had obviously been there for some time. Quite possibly never cleaned since they opened. If they are that careless about keeping the public dining room clean what do they do about areas that food is stored in or prepared in? Places not seen by customers. My opinion is this place does not meet my minimum requirements for a commercial place to eat.
A welcoming atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. We order delivery quite a bit, and dine in occasionally. I've never had a bad experience.
We love this little restaurant. The food is great, prices fair and service friendly. There's enough variety to satisfy most. It's a favorite spot of mine.
Absolutely the best food! We drive over an Hour, well worth it. And the staff is A+!
Ordered from them after a friend got me a burger. Amazing chicken chunks been years since I last had true made ones and the burgers are like something out of a late night food commercial so very filling delicious and hot when arrived. The tots have been great and variety of food that's equal quality. Please understand to that very great restaurants will have wait time on calling because they're that good and demanding. Extremely polite over phone and my new favorite place A++ rating.
