Best WLM Reviews

Unbelievable that a place with so much historic potential can be so BAD. I had to buy Clorox bleach spray to clean the mildew in the bathroom. Room stunk of pot-smoke. Horrible. Customers looked like one step above homeless people. Dogs running around off leash. Barking and people yelling in rooms.
I have only been in one worse place than this in my life. But for $95 a night, this is the worse value ever. NEVER coming back.
Older facility outside of town. Could use some maintenance/improvement but it's a great value for the price. Nothing sketchy. Basic coffee, rolls and fruit for breakfast. Great stay if you're playing golf next door.
We were in room 23. It was a delightful little room - perfectly sized for the two of us. My husband golfed while I did scrapbooking in the room. Very clean and nicely decorated. Wonderful, friendly staff. The only ding I would give the stay was the traffic noises from Hwy 26. But even that did not distract from our stay. We will return!
We traveled with two tiny dogs, we paid $ 40.- for four nights, very reasonable. We had remodeled room 19 on the third floor to the back of the inn. Was very nice with 2 queens, coffee machine, micro, fridge and no small table where you could eat something. Room had flat TV, free Wifi and no phone. Bathroom had plenty of towels which we didn't need every day but were brought anyhow. Had a big problem with the 2 queen beds because the mattresses were moving constantly, they didn't stay together and one night my husband (81 years) fell out of bed and the mattress on top of him. This could be fixed easy and I emailed the owner.||Caretaker and maid were very nice and super friendly. It's not an B&B like it says. You have to go down to the office and pick a cereal or some packaged danish. ||If you are looking for a quiet place, it is not the right one. The front of the inn is very, very noisy because HWY 26 and 15 is right on the door step. The back of the house is much better but still loud because of the ongoing traffic day and night. The place is very reasonable and we will stay there again should we come to this area.
The manger's very professional, She met every accommodation, I even watched her go above and beyond to ensure her customers were comfortable and satisfied. I have been here for a cool minute and have read the previous reviews. Dang there are some very bitter people. I think some people just get in the habit of complaining because I'm impressed with just about everything ,all around. I do recommend this place. I will absolutely return. During my stay, I never heard of or seen an unsatisfied customer for the record.
This place is so peaceful! The clerk is really helpful and friendly, Make sure you have what you need daily. There are stores and food near by. The place is small and don't have to many rooms so it don't get overwhelmed with people. You can enjoy a nice relaxing time out on the balcony. I will definitely be staying here again in the future!
This location is a qaint easy to find location. The woman who checked us in was very pleasant and friendly. The Inn is aged for sure and in some ways it gives it charm. Everything in the room was presented with care and was stocked with amenities. The fridge looked very new and kept the beer ice cold. The bed was very noisy and any small movement was loud. The walls & ceilings are extra thin like a B & B. The cleanliness was mostly good. I found some trash next to the bed kinda hidden away. The room smelled like an old hotel. Not musty, just old. The nightstand top was peeling off. For the most part this was a pleasant visit. However, I would prefer a place with a nicer room. I really don't think there are many choices in the area though. At least they gave a discount for AAA members. The price is already a little too high for the quality of the room.
Although the Inn is old, it is very nice. We were on the 3rd floor and a view of the golf course. Even though it is an old building the room was a nice size. There was a fireplace and the entrance to the room was through French doors. Someone complained about the beds but they have since replaced the beds with very nice memory foam mattresses'. The furniture is old but serves it's purpose. If you need anything all you have to do is ask, they try hard to be of service. There are no room phones! Rooms on the 2nd floor open out to a wider balcony and there are garden tables & chairs that you can sit out on and enjoy your coffee (or drinks). I would stay there again if in the area. The Hilton it is not but then neither is the price, very reasonable.
