Larger menu than the parent location. There is always a crowd. I keep forgetting it is close on Monday’s. Brunswick stew has beans mushed in it, be warned. Nice choice of sauces. Greens are not over seasoned as most in places in the area. Meat can be moist or dry at this location. Check you meat on Togo orders to make sure they have not shorted you compared to a dine in portion. A great choice for Chickamauga. (I wish they had biscuits.)
Traveling for work and came across this place. At 2pm on a Thursday we were greeted by a nice waitress. After placing the order for some of the ribs I was told that they wouldn't be ready for another hour. Would have been nice to have known but was offered additional brisket. Being from Texas my standards are strict. That being said; it was moist-just the right about of smoke-and was trimmed perfectly. The really good sauces they have are not needed.
Great food huge portions great place to bring friends and family. All will enjoy nice place. Nice atmosphere very family friendly. Has a nice dining area, not large but set up very comfortably. Come here often and have always enjoyed the visit. If you're in chickamauga and want a meal stop by. I think you'll be glad you did.
Thatchers has quickly become a Friday night favorite for going out to eat. The menu is comprehensive and all the food is great. The service is always friendly and prices reasonable. I highly recommend giving them a try whether you are visiting or a local. You will not regret it
Ribs were just the best! The brisket, chicken and pulled pork we're also very good. The sweet green beans were out of the park good! Fried green tomatoes we're awesome. Service was great and with a smile. We'll be back!
We was there Friday around 5pm and ordered man of smoke sandwich on hamburger bun and French fries. The fries were fine, but that sandwich was not the bun was so soggy you couldn't eat it. The center (meat) kept sliding out. My mom's brisket sandwich the bun was also soggy. The brisket didn't taste right either. It's usually a good place to eat. Will give it one more try.
Courteous staff. Service is prompt and delicious foods served well seasoned. Favorites are chicken wings and honey flavored green beans. Would recommend arriving before 6:30 pm for no waiting.
Always busy, but never feels crowded. The service is usually fast and the food comes in a suitable amount of time and is always good. The light colored sauce is awesome. Get the fries.
