Great stop for a meal. Was???
Stop 5/25/24 Sad looking pale frybread, oil not hot enough. Green Chile stew, hominy over done, mush!!
This place used to be great, but Natanni Nez is serving better Navajo Tacos. The burgers used to be good, now it's a soggy mess with a very, very small dry hard burnt hockey puck for a burger, I remember this place had great huge burgers..now they buy cheaper thinner patties nothing like the past. Go to Chat n Chew or Nataani Nez for a burger..not here.
Breakfast is great, I recommend Breakfast sandwich on tortilla or the Volcano.
Very good food and friendly service! Got our food quickly, and they didn’t sacrifice quality for speed. Inside of the restaurant is very clean, too.
Ordered breakfast burrito and it was such a disappointment. I paid $8.97 for it and this is what I got. Burned bread as well. Lotaburger does better and the burritos has potatoes in it.
I went twice. First time I got a Navajo Burger and smothered fries. The Navajo burger wasn't very good, the frybread was extremely tough and the meat patties were def of low quality...they seemed to have some kind of filler in them. I couldn't finish it cause of the meat. Bummer. But the smothered fries were absolutely amazing! So good! Got em with everything. I got a small and it was a nice portion. Totally could be a meal in itself. I'd go back just for those.
Couple days later I went back, mostly cuz it was 7am and the only place actually open. Got the breakfast burrito, which was also really good. My only complaint was that it said it was made on Navajo tortilla bread, but mine came in a regular Mexican tortilla. Regardless, it was still delicious.
The smothered fries are the best around, green chili is hot. The tortilla burger was a little bit dry. But the fry sauce makes up for it.
Good Navajo Tacos, I like to used taco bell diablo hot sauce, more hotter the better like my native women ????????????but need more meat for the ladies ????????
So making a delivery in Shiprock and decided to try something new for lunch. We have Never ever eaten here before. So husband ordered a That's a burger double and fries I decided to get the FRY BREAD Burger. OMGOODNESS, this burger was delish. It was HUGE.
Also establishment was very clean, so were bathrooms. Service was good. Will definitely be coming back when in the area.
