I was in the mood for breakfast this morning & traveled to the Thano’s Family Restaurant in Canfield, Ohio. I was told that they have an amazing breakfast, I was not disappointed. When i arrived, I was warmly greeted by the hostess. She asked my seating preference (table, counter or booth), and seated me quickly. She adjusted the table & positioned it for my comfort, then checked the table to make sure I had everything I need for my meal. My waitress was over quickly & brought me a nice, hot cup of coffee. She was super friendly & pleasant, she then went over the menu with me. I made the selection of the Everything Omelet with a side home fries & white toast. A few minutes later my breakfast was brought to my table nice & hot. I must say the omelet was proper, lots of meat & the home fries were perfect. The atmosphere was very relaxed & calm, made for an enjoyable experience. Plus the cost of my entire meal was good, it certainly didn’t break the bank. I really enjoyed my dining experience here & I will definitely be returning in the future. If you love a proper breakfast, this is the place for you.
Have been there many times. The food was always very good. Went last night. The place was so cold that even leaving your winter coat on you froze. Everyone in restaurant was complaining. We ask to be moved but was told by the waitress that there were vents everywhere so the whole room was cold. After we ordered a couple were seated behind us. She complained about it being to cold and they were moved to another area. That couple was told that they had the kitchen door opened. When the waitress Brought my soup it was not hot enough for me and I had ask her to make sure it was extra hot. She immediately got an attitude. When she brought our meals. The cabbage and noodles were not even warm. So we ask if they could heated. When brought back she sat them down and that was the end of our service. She never came back to see we needed anything. If the food was alright. I needed a second glasses of water. Never did get it. I would have liked to have a roll. She had all the tables around us and passed us by every time Never asking if we needed anything . We won’t be back. We paid for our dinner it wasn’t free and we had a right to the same service as those around us.
Pricing! So much value for the m9ney here. Got the Soup and Salad option, came with sorbet too! Meal total was under 15 With the drink!
Stayed light for this meal, but planning to return to try some of the Greek cuisine when I am ready for a heartier meal.
Staff was was friendly, honest and attentive. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.
A decent spot for a weekend breakfast. Great prices and friendly staff. Food was good. There’s even some old fashioned bar-counter seating, where my friend and I sat. A little dingy inside, but that’s ok with me.
Went for the 1st time while visiting for a wedding. Came here for breakfast and wow was it good. Fresh food. Great service. Waitress was great. We all loved it here and will definitely be back next vacation.
What a great place for an enjoyable breakfast. Service is especially fast and the food is very tasty. I love walking in and seeing the deserts first. Gets you into the eating mood. Love it here. #supportlocalbusiness
The food was really good. It came out hot! We had the chargrilled burger and the Greek burger. Both were very good. The fries were nice and crispy. Emma was our server, and she was very attentive. She did a great job!
They were busy but the wait wasn't too long.
The coffee was great, not too strong. I could drink a couple cups of it. I even drank it black.
I ordered the "Veg'd In" omelet, which is really satisfying. The spinach in it is very flavorful.
I ate all my potatoes, not something I do at every diner. Good seasoning, without being very salty.
My waitress took good care of me without being a helicopter. Thanks.
They have a few spots with electrical outlets. Their wi-fi wasn't working when I stopped, but I was able to do some offline work on my laptop. So this was a solid road trip pit stop.
They're open until 9 and have breakfast all day. That's dreamy diner material right there.
I don't pass through this part of town often, but I will be sure to come back through here when I do.
